My uncle got a promotion, his rank in the army is the same but instead of being in a tank when he's going to Iraq he'll be doing paper work in a base, working under the First Sergeant as his driver. I'm glad because this is a lot safer, save the times he needs to drive which shouldn't be very often since the First Sergeant doesn't leave the base often.
I wonder if life at home changed at all, if my dad is still depressed, my little brother is still being bullied by the nieghborhood kids, my brother is still locked up in his room talking only to his girlfriend (oh, sorry, I mean fiancee. They're engaged after all >.>), and my mom is still indifferent to everything except Everquest. It probably hasn't. This is why I'm not home sick <.<;

Another night, another session of my dad trying to bicker the sense into my mother to get her to stop lying around because things aren't going her way.
I mean, I can understand her being upset over not having a job, but that doesn't mean she should neglect her duties as mother and wife. =/ I've had to fend for myself all day today. I'm lucky my dad is willing to go out at eleven o'clock at night and buy me food to last me through the weekend...

- Uh, okay, that was the most unexciting launch party ever. We just stood there, in a crowded Barnes & Noble, watching little kiddies make fake wands and stupid teenagers getting Starbucks coffee. And then I ended up empty handed since there's no way in hell I'm wait for two hours in line. Oh, and my bro ditched me. ;D
- Damn, I have to work today, technically. I think I'll just stay up tonight.
