Huzzah! Alan Johnston has been released! 114 days later. He was kidnapped 114 days ago in the Gaza Strip and is finally free. Geez, after flooding, no sign of summer and attempted terrorist attacks by NHS doctors its nice for this country to have some good news.

Gaah...transformers was AWFUL! Omg...it's the first time i actually fell asleep inside the movie theater. I mean, sure, the effects were good and all...but....ugg. My friends kept having to poke or kick me to stay awake....

I...still have to write my thesis...it's the fourth of july...this is what i get for going out last nite with the guy that i like and then meeting friends 40 minutes away at 11pm to see a movie. Well, at least he drove....

My sis is pissed at me...but i didnt do anything. Ugg...i was supposed to go to Coney Island with her today, and last nite she went out to the Hamptons apparently and never came back home. Thanks sis, for making me kill all of my plans to spend time with you...and then you throw it in my face. I need to learn not to listen to her anymore....

And i had my first business lunch yesterday...that was a nightmare. It was the first time i was paid to sit in a restaurant for 2 hours to discuss machines and tests that our lab is going to run. And i was sooo bored, bc they all started talking about their kids....i just played with my lunch. And somehow...when i wasnt paying attention...i got stuck being the head of some committee for finance and product ordering management,....or...something. I dont know what im supposed to do...all i know is that i have to call some ppl. Hmm...this looks like a job...for my secretary

My dear...i think we are in the same boat...my friends are happy, for the most part. My mom is like...uber happy and calls me to ask me about him nonstop...but the rest of my family...well, thats a whole 'nother story. My sis told me that the thought of me being with someone makes her skin crawl, my dad gave me the 3rd degree...and someone thinks that a successful guy with his own house, new car and two master's of science degrees isn't good enough...and my stepmom doesn't even ask. My sis just got a new bf the other day, i think in retaliation to my new guy that im seeing....and everyone was sooo interested in him, and asked her what she did, and she wouldn't stop talking. Gah...i need to move out.

. But what have they done to you, my dear Zarpi?? do i need to go over there and tell some ppl to back off...bc i will

@Chi-Mine is just an outline of what i want to write...and a rough draft of what i am going to write in each area of my thesis. I shouldn't have waited this long, but i guess i cant ditch the working under pressure mentality.

@Tombow-lol, yeah...business meetings are the evilness of industry. But at least we go to expensive restaurants and the company pays the bill

Then i can order whatever i want...and not feel the pain in my wallet, haha. And my sis is soooo different from me....considering the both of us went out to separate places last nite..and she didn't get home until 11am...and she was pissed off and hung over. Amazing, i tell ya. I thought that by the time you hit your late 20's you're supposed to stop acting like an idiot.

I used to...but....it was soo bad you can smell the cheese permeating from the screen though the theatre...i think it was Limburger....or that dead man's foot cheese i had at my dad's wedding....

It's an internship for a Client Relations Assistant. It seems pretty good. And yes, I'll need luck when the family is here . . . thanks.

- I finished my Hans Christian Andersen treasury last night (it had pretty pictures).
- I will be working on reading Eleven Minutes and Peter Pan and Wendy.

I am just writing to say how proud we are of you on this special day. You have grown strong and proud even if you have had a few rough patches.
However, I miss you very much. Why can't you be like your brothers Canada and Australia? They stayed with me and are still happy? Why must you be so independent? You never spend any real time with me unless you want to topple your cousins regimes. This is fine by us but if you could just come back to the common wealth, well, the family would appreciate it an awful lot.

-Okay. Its official. I hate my computer right now. I just got it working to the point it wouldnt boot me off the internet or freeze up after 10 minutes, and I found the reason why. My friend apparently got a buncha viruses on it from a website, because I was trying to play Warcraft or just check my DA at the first chance I could. It's fixed now, so i'm praying nothing happens.
-My tv's speakers went out again >_<
-For the good news I went to a Weird Al Yankovic concert last week
