So I got a sunburn today from the pool. I want a tan, but the fact that I'm not pale white any more is good enough. I am usually like Snow white, or whatever, but now I am red...

My mom is mad at my grandparents. They all of a sudden decide that we are leaving Sunday, and she needs to take me down (up) there to Missourri tomorrow. But my Mom has to work Saturday, and possibly Sunday also, and on top of that she doesn't have gas money this week at all. I don't see why they can't come pick me up on the way, that would only add three hours to the 20 hour trip... So I guess I am leaving Monday...

I found out yesterday that if you dilute milk it tastes about the same. My step-dad has been doing that for about a weeks, and no one has even noticed. I mean we only use milk for coffee, or cereal. And besides our food stamps ran out, and we are having to pay cash for our food, for about another week.

my thoughts
-My best friend has to leave tomorrow. It sucks. I don't know if she is moving for ever, or not.
I hope she isn't though. I will miss her.
-I can't wait until Monday.
-How do you light cigarettes with a toaster?

Thanks guys. Your words mean alot, really they do.

It feels kinda weird, but really nice. Tonight was the first time I saw my mother go to bed around 1 rather than 6 a.m. in months. O.o That actually says quite a bit, since she used to stay up so late to avoid being around him. Things are going to tight at my mom's money wise, but I'm sure she can manage, especially since she'll only have one kid to worry about coming on weekends next year.

@Fushigi - Yes, it does say a lot about the state your mom (and, you) had been subjected to. And, I'm so glad to hear that it's now turning for better. Financially, you and your mom will probably have harder time, but that sense of relief and that sense of safety should be worth very much, IMO!! I commend your mom's courage for deciding to divorce this ~~bastard~~ person. Nevertheless, I can see hard times ahead for your mom, and I hope you'll be there for her as her moral support. I see you mom is getting the Restraining order on Monday. Hope she will be safe till then. See if your mom can get the clause to include you and your brother (especially you because you were being subjected to his violent rage once) for the restraining order so that he can't approach you if you run into him in town. It's worth a try. There are other precautions, I think, but I'm sure your mom is getting all those advises. Hope you'll all stay safe till everything get worked out. You're a strong young lady to go through this and being that together. Hope you will stay strong, and support your mom's courage to go through tough times ahead. And, as Popo has said so "un"eloquently, we'll be here for you if you need to express your feelings, or need some ears, or just to make you laugh, or whatever. But you know that already, right??

Praying for your mom's safety, and everything would work out for you, your brother, and your mom!! *hugs*

Damn parents. The one thing I wanted to do this summer has been rejected. I wanted to go to ConnectiCon and my mom says it's too far. A have a few words for her:
Take a goddamn ferry.
On a clear day you can look from the North shore and actually see Connecticut.
But no.
And she won't even let me go to the one at the Jacob Javitz Center in December. Well that one I knew why I couldn't go. But ConnectiCon is just two days. It's not that long!!!

Current thoughts:
-Rained yesterday when I went with my friends to the movies, so I got soaked

[so my test grades were all around A's]!!!
-My summer break is here, and now I see its raining like crazy again.
-But am very happy cause rain always helps me to sleep, and sinces its nicer outside I don't have to worry about being all sweaty [when playing sports]

Current Thoughts:
~ Well now besides the fact that I feel bad enough for not being on, I had a good day, we had to do a Yard sale for my step-mom's friend, which was really big, and was one heck of a job to put back, and we have to take it back out next week, and me and my step-brother are going to be the ONLY ones that will run it O_o Kinda scary, but hopefully nothing bad should happen

~ Six Flags was alright, I only rode one rollercoaster which after 3 days has still given me a back ache because the loop we went through kinda pushed us down far toward the ground and it felt so painful

but I rode all of the water rides and go soaked completely and I wasn't wearing a swimsuit

also rode this one ride, it was kinda like something that spins you around really fast, okay, there are 3 seats to each branch that the whole thing has, and there are 3 branches, so 9 seats total, it was the thing that spun you around, which was the base of the whole thing, and that turned, and the 3 branches spun you around also, so it was like double time spinning, and it was all on the ground so no height related problems were put into that, and what really made it cool was it was inside this huge dome and had really awesome music to it, that was the best ride in my opinion

~ Still made some money from that yard sale, $37 awesome-ness, and will get more next week, just have to set it up again

I graduated from high school today!

The ceremony was wonderful, the weather was beautiful, and lots and lots of picture taking!

When we threw our caps off I got hit in the head when one of them came down. XD

There was an interesting article that caught my attention yesterday- it was about how the rate of teenage depression has gone up by heaps since the 1960's or so, especially in girls. They think it might be due to the fact that we as teens aren't getting enough lub and care at home. That probably explains why my friend is going through a trauma especially if [spoiler]she has to take care of her lil sis while her parents go and **ck someone else's spouse every night.[/spoiler]

This "two hour" limit thing is chafing me.

- I'm gonna be gone all day because it's my great grandad's birthday this week, so we're taking him out to eat today, as well as my gramma.
