Tombow
@Amalthea - Stay away from the oven area!! ohmy.gif
(Actually, I'm ok with the spiders as long as it's not on me, but I know what you mean.. ^^)

@Toby-Chan - Just as I suspected.. yeah, for braising meat.. apple juice works fine. Not so much for chicken but especially for meat with stronger taste. For regular supermarket chicken, you will probably detect apply juice taste, but this should still work. With the apple juice, the dish may get some "country style" flare. But, if you'd like for the dish to come out more dry "adult" taste, then substituting with broth with lemon is recommended, especially if you are planning for some pasta with sauteed tomatoes on the side. Using regular ground pepper and salt is fine, although, if you have some kosher salt, you can use that as well. This sounds like a nice meal!! Bon appétit! happy.gif

@baKa-neKoh - Maybe because love makes some people blind/say stupid things?? rolleyes.gif

@TOXIN13 - Then, start from the middle?? Yes, you'll probably ended up editing some parts later, but that will get you started!! ^^

CT
- Off I go to fill up my tommy with BBQ!!
- See you later!! biggrin.gif
That One Dude
Oh, thank you! ^^ I'll start from the middle and then I'll find my Beggining!
Toby-Chan
Amalthea- That doesn't gross me out in the least. I love spiders. Good source of protein

Tombow- Thanks. I'm defrosting the chicken and the bacon right now (Tee hee... floppy bacon!) and I'll probably start up the official cooking in about an hour or so. It'll be easier now that I have everything in order. (One of the positive aspects of having a alcoholic beverages on hand.)

Random Thoughts:

HOMFG!!!!
I never thought I could actually tan!
=X
My friends held me down and put tanning lotion on random parts of my right leg.
Oh, the tyranny!!!
It looks like a huge birth mark gone wrong.

@Ratzenheich, awesome dream happy.gif

Current Thoughts:
~ First day, went good, I wasn't totally rushed out of bed today, spent practically the entire day at my step-grandmothers house that has a pool, and practically everyone was there, hence probably Memorial Day. That parts wasn't really that bad, everyone had a good time, I didn't have to get mad at anyone for picking on my brother, or get thrown in the pool at all (Which isn't that bad, only if you have sat in the sun for a few hours and just get thrown into the pool for the first time). I got a sunburn also, not that bad so I won't complain tongue.gif. We finally got home from that, everyone was good and just started to play games, then hell starts, my little brothers, one 4 and the other 5, fighting over the Wii system dry.gif One of the most stupidest things to fight over, since we have both controllers, then since most of the older kids have a DS, and so do my brother and I have one, we all decided to goof around a use the "Pictochat" thing, and they start picking on my brother there, which made me mad, almost to the point of starting a fist fight...but anyway, I just left, and told my brother to go and play the Gamecube which is in my "current" room and they won't bother him because I'm right there also with the computer. So it started off good, then ends crap sleep.gif

Well, that depends on how far along you are and in what degree....you could always push back your expected graduation time....that way the ppl wont know that you were in the program for such an extended pd of time. But I think that right now it might be a combo of you having too much/little experience...and the fact that it is summer now, and a lot of the jobs are taken by college kids home for break. But dont give up...im sure you'll find one soon!

I'm 3 years into my BA in English and minor in Communications Studies. My expected graduation date is already 2009. I just don't know how to make myself more qualified. sad.gif I'll keep trying though.

I've lost track of how many times I've said that this weekend, but they really are a blast. I don't think I've ever gotten to geek out so much in such a short amount of time XD

@Quis - Re: over-qualified - this is actually a reasonable issue. Someone who is seen as over-qualified is typically one that the employer fears will not do a good job simply because the job is "beneath" them. Also being over-qualified can lead to work politic issues where others or even the boss feels threatened.

When applying for a job, your application/resume should show how you fit the job. Targeting your application to the intended audience is a key aspect of landing any job. I didn't look back in the thread to see this particular position if it was mentioned, but your best bet is always to size up the job and find a way to communicate your abilities in a way that make someone think you're a good fit.

This is typically hard for early graduates/pre-graduates because they don't have enough "fluff" to help out with this and typically have to list out everything they've done whether it applies or not.

Damnit, math test today was a disaster. @_@ Usually, I don't ever have to study for math - I remember all the formulas, or they're on a formula sheet given with the test. And if I don't know, I'm usually able to work my way through the question and figure out what the correct formula is anyways (love multiple choice questions in math...) Today...not so much. Then again, he taught us of some of the stuff on this unit test just yesterday, so I still wasn't grasping it, and the formulas I thought were right weren't giving me any of the answers I could choose. No matter how much I worked through some questions and tried to figure out how it was possible to get any of the four answers, it wasn't working on some questions...I wonder if one formula just slipped my mind completely because I was so busy trying to grasp this new crap...

Or maybe I just really suck at finance. Very possible as well. TMT solver can kiss my ass. Also very possible my math teacher wrote some f*!@ed up questions...he does happen to be a very big moron.

Resume: Collaborated with other departments to find solutions to common problems

Resume: Analyzed current business practices and provided solutions for management review

For education, I put only my degree and not what I got my degree in (I let people find out later that I have little to no formal business education laugh.gif). I never bother with GPA because no one really cares (I've only ever been asked once about my GPA at an interview).

Post Interview tactics - Don't be afraid to call before a week is up. You can even be so bold to ask what their impression was of your ability to fit the position. This gives you a chance to counter any concerns they have right away or at least learn for next time. I've learned a lot from failed job hunting. That's bogus! They only found someone more qualified because you didn't get a chance to adjust their opinion. If you get an interview, ask at the end of the interview whether they have any concerns about your ability to fill the position. Then in as confident a position you can, make the claim that you can meet their concerns and overcome any concerns they have.

Hell, most people who work in my position where I am now have over 20 years experience. I convinced the powers that be that I have the key fundamentals needed to do the job and I am more than capable of learning anything I do not know (I then procede to tell a story of how I overcame my lack of experience somewhere else).

Now about why I leave my grad school on there and a word about the nonsense items (i.e. what I wrote above):

My goal is always to get an interview with my resume. This means that I intentionally leave in items that will inspire the question, "what do you mean by..." or "I see you went to seminary, what brings you here?" It is at this point I have the ability to connect with the interviewer and tell my story. The story is always skewed to show how I can overcome adversity, work well with others, empathize, am interesting and joyful to work with, or some other interpersonal junk.

My paper resume almost never gets me ranked high in the beginning, but has enough in it to show I'm technically qualified. I then can procede to trick people into thinking I'm a nice person when in fact, I'm a passive aggressive monster laugh.gif

-I can always tell when my sis gets a new bf...bc suddenly she turned from cool sis to b*tch. and then everyting i do is nothing compared to her and oh how i have the worst taste in guys...i made the mistake of letting he meet some of my friends...and then she went homea nd told my family a bunch of lies about them.... And then when i get annoyed and ask her to stop, she twists it around so that everyone in the house thinks that i started an arguemtn...and it always ends in me being pissed, my sis talking in her fake-a** voice about her new bf's job and then my family totally forgets about me and keeps acting like my sis is sooo great and how i should go out and find a guy like my sis did.

@Molec - It amazes me often that you and your sis are like, so totally different!! laugh.gif

Today I had to wash, dry and pack the police blankets. We have to wear special protection as they are the blankets prisoners have in the overnight jail cells. Pity poor Chi and her handling and "substance" coated blankets.

@Chiyo - Oh boy... hope you can get some other job...was that BBC?? or some other job sometime!! But, at least it's good to know that the "substance" was just flour. ^^
