Wow, I cannot believe how stubborn my little brother is. I wanted to go on the computer to type my biology lab up, and he was playing a computer game. I told him that I have to get on the computer to type up a lab, and he said, "Why didn't you do that before ?" And I told him that I did type up some of my lab today, but my dad had to get on the computer, so I didn't finish it. I even pulled out the typed lab on the computer and my brother still didn't believe that I worked on it today. And so he said, "Well, you weren't on the computer for a while after you got home from school. What were you doing, drawing ?" And so I said, "Yes, I was drawing because I have four drawings to finish for the newspaper by the end of the week, and I haven't even started them." I eventually got on the computer, but still, I'm a bit cheesed off.

Maybe we have the same problem, haha. And yes, Bleach IS pretty darn awsome, for lack of a better phrase at the moment. That's why i watch it...for the awsomeness. I got another friend hooked on it just two days ago I enjoy spreading the love and waiting for the boxed sets. And sorry, I can't say that I'm familiar with that name. Granted, there are many molecular biologists, XD. I felt kinda dumb at the last conference that I went to...bc i met this guy who was apparently really famous in the field...and i didnt know. Oh well...i guess he should be happy that i spoke to him like a normal human being, rather than as an obsessive scientific fangirl Can you sign my textbook lolol. Ive actually concidered asking ppl that, actually... *cough*
But ya know what the worst part is for just randomly napping when youre not used to it>? I got up, and i was sooo confused...the clock said 7:30...and i thought that (bc it was light out) that it was 730am...and i slept through my alarm and i was late for work. And then i realized taht i didnt have tog o to work...and it was thursday and i didnt finish my presentation. And i got scared...and couldnt figure out why my bed was still covered in clothes, or why i wasnt in my pjs....and i had to go downstairs and ask my parents what day it was.......it was still Wed, just a few hours later
@Steel-yeah, before i got my laptop, i had the same problem with my sister and the family computer. Except it wasnt games, it was AIM and photoshop....and i would tell her that i had to work on my bio hmwk, and she would tell me that i should have thought of that before she got on the computer....and then she would make me wait for her to be done...or if she got up, then she would be permenantly pissed at me for the rest of the week *shrugs*. Go fig. But at least i know im not the only one that had to fight for the right to use a comp for scientific purposes...

-still need to read more journals...dammit...i wish my mentor didnt send them to me

I've seen 2 doctors about it already. First one said fungal infection, second said eczema triggered from allergic reaction to dryer sheets, and SO's mother deduced poison-oak. Nothing seems to be working. I'll go to the walk-in clinic on campus tomorrow and see what they'll say there. I'll mention the cortisone shot to them. Thanks, Molly.

Some does, and some doesn't, hence it depends on the author. Otherwise, if you know it's ok with the author, then I think you can post the link to the scans (assuming you put the scans on your Photobacket album or some place) on BBI thread. ^^

- Having only 512 MB of RAM and a 40 GB PATA hard drive sucks. Can't wait to have enough money to slap another 1 GB of RAM and upgrade the hard drive to a 160 GB 5400 rpm SATA.
- Bah... Bored again and playing Sim City 4 the whole day.
- I can't stop scratching my rashes from time to time. This is bullsh!t...

I have just bought a Cayman S. It was a less demanding car[fast+handles better] than the RX-8...and I made them eat dust now... The new keyboard should be safe by now...

I have a question about grammar, if anyone can help. We're learning about capitalization in English class, and the teacher couldn't figure out one of the rules for capitalization. Is the word "the" that comes before a famous monument/ structure capitalized if the structure is capitalized? For example, which is correct, The Great Wall of China, or the Great Wall of China? The Leaning Tower of Pisa or the Leaning Tower of Pisa? Things like that. If anyone can help, that would be great, if not, that's okay; this is just out of curiousity.
My thoughts:

The way I understand it...'the' is not capitalized, not when it's definite-article-ing the monument itself. You do capitalize it if, say, there's a movie called The Great Wall of China or a book called The Leaning Tower of Pisa -- but the capitalization in those would be due to the fact that 'the' is the first word of the title.
