On another note, it was fun to watch my fellow classmates hang their clothes (with them in the clothes) on a hook during P.E just so they could see if they could unhook themselves.

What happened was my brakes gave out while I was driving through the city, and I panicked and ran a few red lights before I remembered the handbrake.

Quick enough thinking to keep you with us then Void, glad you didn't get hurt (or anyone else I'm assuming).

You need to relax and concentrate in the speed (no need to run obviously), if you see a red light, use the handbrake. That's all that i remember about driving without brakes.

Then I have to make lunch, go to piano lesson, then counterpoint lesson, and then a haircut.
- I have laundry and vacuuming to do when I come back.
- I feel like my vacation is really over. It just figures that I wouldn't even get to sleep or rest the moment I get back.

I hate needles, but it really wasn't even bad at all. It barely hurt... it stung for about a minute, prob less, and then my arm just went numb. Plus I got free, delicious donuts and juice!!!!!!! and miss pretty much the entire school day, lol.

Bah, I hate it when my mom buys food food without reading the ingredients... This cho mein looked really good, but it has shrimp product in it. So I ended up eating this weird thing... it's called Szechuan, and it came in a box shaped like those chinese takeout boxes, and you cook the stuff right in it, no water needed o_o;; Japs are way ahead of the future XP

The little boy I'm babysitting has gone from innocent and behaving to mischevious and ALL OVER THE PLACE at once! So please wish me luck, I'm watching him after my mom picks me up. His mom showed me a picture of his lastest antic- he discovered the power of sisscors and cut half of his hair off. xD

Actually, I think I'll work on an "extended version" once finals are over. As I was writing, I had a bunch of ideas for plot and character development, but I didn't have enough time (and I don't think I'll have enough paper to print it on without spending $5-6 on a stack of paper that I'll just end up taking home anyway, where we don't need any more paper), so I had to cut a lot of it out. =\

Well, that's fair... assuming she doesn't help mom in the kitchen preparing dinner... I'm the one for the past 5 months been cooking the rice every single day... XD

Nevermind the bad news because OMG!!! My parents got me a laptop today!!! XD I already told them before that I wanted to replace my aging PC which still uses an Athlon XP from 4 or 5 years ago. O_O Anyway, the laptop I got was on sale and the specs and price were just too good to resist and we're so lucky we passed by the shop that had the sale. Anyway, here are the specs of the laptop I got:

Pentium M 730 @ 1.6 Ghz / 533 Mhz FSB / 2 MB Cache
512 MB DDR2 533 Mhz
Geforce Go 6600 256 MB Dedicated + Intel GMA900 128 MB Shared
40 GB 5400 rpm PATA hard drive
15.4" WSXGA+ (1680x1050) LCD screen (anti-glare)
DVD-RW drive
and all the other usual stuff in a laptop like Wifi

What I really liked about it is the hybrid graphics chip. You can choose between the Geforce Go 6600 or the Intel GMA900 before you start the laptop. There's a switch for this. They told me the laptop can run up to nearly 5 hours using the GMA900 and around 2 to 2 1/2 hours using the Geforce Go 6600. I just installed CnC Generals now and I cranked it up to all high settings and at 1440x1050 and it's absolutely flawless. It's freaking fast when the Geforce Go 6600 is switched on. My old PC can barely run CnC Generals at an acceptable framerate at the lowest settings and 800x600 resolution. O_O

The WSXGA+ resolution is just beautiful! 1680x1050 is lovely! My PC's monitor only supports till 1280x1024. I have yet to install newer games and better apps so I can test it a bit more. But so far I'm quite satisfied. The price to performance ratio is insane. It's hard to come by laptops with a good video card, let alone a hybrid one! I got it for 39,000 pesos which is around $780 and I'm glad my parents understood that it was an awesome deal, or rather a steal. And I'm also lucky that the shop was trying to get rid of all their old stocks because the new ones just arrived. The new ones sucked though even if all of them use Core 2 Duos. Most of them just have a shared GPU or a crappy low-end GPU like the Geforce Go 7400 or ATI Mobility Radeon X1400. That shop, along with some others, also sell a few of the Core 2 Duo laptops with the newer ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 or Geforce Go 7600 but they're around 35-50% more expensive than my laptop and it's not hybrid, meaning it's always a power hog because the really fast (and power hungry, like when my Geforce Go 6600 is turned on) graphics card is always on.

I'm still using my PC to post this. I'm still transferring my files from my old system into the laptop. Can't wait till it's done! I can now lock myself in the room and surf the net using the laptop. My PC is in the living room so I feel insecure there. O_O

I'm also thinking of upgrading the hard drive soon. 40 GB is just too small for me. >_< And I'll probably slap a 512 MB or 1 GB of DDR2 533 Mhz RAM too. I just need to save up a bit more cash.

I'll also post some pictures of it later or tomorrow.

Oh dear oh dear. The entire chorus will be devoured today.
The chorus SUCKED. But it wasn't us. The accompanist screwed up. Apparently false signaling. They way my teacher was waving her must have meant 'Make me look and feel like and idiot', 'Let's screw up the kids' or 'Repeat the last entire musical paragraph twice'. Leaning towards the second one since the 8th grade chorus teacher hates my teacher with a burning passion. And she was sitting with the accompanist. Don't ask me why. I don't know.

But what pissed me off the most, was that almost the entire female population of the school WOULDN'T SHUT UP. Inbetween songs, during practice; 'Omg how am I supposed to talk with all these lights? Uck, gross. That girls hair is horrible, I'm so hot..'; I've had the worst headache ever since last Wednesday. I'm not one to complain, but that was just plain rude.

And then, this one a**hole who has always stood in front during practices, moved up behind me on the riser and said she's always stood there like I'm some kind of idiot. The girl she was talking to wasn't acknowledging her and telling me to get my teacher so she could have the girl kicked off the riser. And my friend was already standing there and this girl practically SHOVED HER OFF THE RISER. We were on the top row and if (God forbid) she fell off she could have been seriously injured. And after the concert she came up to me and said she just stood there because the girl behind on her real riser sung horribly. I look and it was another one of my friends! She almost sends one of my friends to the hospital and says my other can't sing! She can! She had two solos dammit!

Well, I was long overdue for a haircut, and it is good for summer. My significant other likes my hair long, so he hasn't let me get a haircut in a while. It came out shorter than it was supposed to be. I liked my long hair, too. But I'm getting used to this look, I think. It's not THAT bad . . . though my SO would beg to differ since he said this about the haircut, verbatim, "Everything is wrong."
