I was watching some robins and I think sparrows in my backyard through the window. I must've watched them for over 10 minutes. I'm just so glad to see them back.

Yeah, it was as windy as all hell over here too...and i was supposed to push this cart of coffee and donuts across to the conference center from the Bio building...and i spent the better part of the time chasing styrofoam cups and other things across the grass and pavement
It was really nice out today....for the whole 5 minutes i was outside. And apparently this weekend its gonna be really nice too...and then get cold again on monday. This sucks...the only reason the temp is nice this weekend is to taunt me bc i cant leave the house with the paper hanging over my head

This was a random thought by them I guess. We're going to the music store tomorrow, and they're having this sale. Originally I intended only to buy me a new bassoon reed as my old one is pretty much screwed now... and it's gross too. XD
It's a graduation present. Which is pretty surprising that they'd do this for me. I went to the music store today, just to look around and because we were in the area. I just had to show my mom the saxophones (this was before they decided to get me a keyboard.) and... OMG there was this awesome tenor saxophone there. Apparently it's a new custom model made by Yamaha. I also had to show my mom just how much my saxophone is messed up - By using an alto saxophone there to show her.
Gah. I hate myself. I hate how many instruments I need. I hate that. I need to stick to what I've got... but my alto saxophone is messed up and I can't help that... and I can't help that it's the instrument I love the most.
Anyways... I went pretty crazy there. "Wow... a keyboard?" they suppose I need it right now for the great orchestra piece of doom that's due next week for AP Music Theory. Which is quite accurate, the Finale Workbook I have doesn't work properly, in that there's no sound, and there's no way to hear in unison what I've composed...

I guess I just have to go with the keyboard, as it IS essential to doing music in college. I think I'm going on a another forum hiatus. A few days ago, I realized that I had three papers due next week, and I panicked. Kept away from the forum--and IRC--for the last two days or so. When it dawned on me that I didn't have the topic prompt for one of the three papers, I panicked again, thinking I had missed a handout or completely tuned out when the prompt was announced. (Both of which are highly unlikely. I go to every class and have never fallen asleep...this semester. >_> ) This is the first time in several months that I've been this stressed, I think. In any case, we got the prompts today and the due date was extended another week! (Stress level dropped considerably.) Now I only have two papers due in the next seven days! So instead of quitting the forum (and IRC) cold turkey, I came back long enough to say that I won't be back till Thursday at the soonest. =p

Yeah. Practice MONDAY through FRIDAY. What a pain. I spend atleast 2 hours there a day. Last night I was there from 6-9:30. It's not too bad though.

WEll, it's like....70 and sunny out. And here i am...trapped in the house...trying to find a way to make my paper at least 10 pages. Though, I ended last nite at a good place....the middle of page 8. I think i can manage to elaborate on a few things and incorporate a few papers before i go off to work today to make it a little over 10 pages *knock on wood* I just hope my mentor appreciates all of the sleepless nights poured into this thing
-Ya know how i said a few pages back that i wanted a "real job".,....well, my friend just im'd me saying that there is an opening in her lab for an immunologist and she was going to recommend me if i wanted. And so, hopefully...i can get this position as a PT thing...bc then i can keep a few hours at the guard place while working here and doing my research. And that would be fun, bc then i will be able to start putting money back into my savings and towards student loans again

Everyone is outside and working on this beautiful day, and I have to stay inside to work on my drawings for the newspaper. Which is actually fine for me; I hate working outside. But I would like to go outside before it gets dark out.
My thoughts:
- I have to finish 1 and a half drawings, not including what I have to draw for art homework.
- Yay! I get to draw whatever I want for art homework this week!

@Yuki-lol, a dead nite would mean that no one comes around so that i can actually get some schoolwork done. Hopefully all of the residents went to the beach instead of having company over.... And we should totally like...destroy the ppl who are blasting music without the common courtsey to think of their neighbors....
