-Finally got around to seeing Pan's Labyrinth and I'm freaked the hell out! I'm seriously having trouble sleeping. But it was a really good movie. Gorgeous movie, great actors, a little on the violent side, so don't take the kids. Two-thumbs way up
-You ever get the feeling that someone is talking about you, right after being totally fake to you? I've just have this feeling that is too strong to ignore. It's so strong that if I close my eyes, it's like I can hear exactly what they're saying about me. It's really starting to piss me off.
-What the hell is wrong with Cherokee Nation?

A lad on our course has some fantastic film skills, and 'some guy' in America has asked him to make a short film...as far as I can tell in the style of Battle Royale (apparently its going on a DVD of some kind, not that we will get it). He's asked the people on our course generally if anyone wants to take part, he needs a lead girl (and two guys) and a couple of girls to...well die. It sounds fun, but apart from having to wander home alone late at night after filming its weeknights when I have Uni the next day. Perhaps if no-one else wants to I will, problem being the outlandish girls probably won't have seen Battle Royale.

And I really dont know why i'm going to school today...i have nothing to work on because I'm supposed to be starting a new part of my project...and i need to ok it with my advisor first, who is booked on Tuesdays....so in reality, i cant start it until wednesday.
Then again....being stuck at home with my dad all day...i bet he will make me clean the bathroom again.....on second thought, I'll go to school just to escape....

~~ I somehow figured out a way to get wireless internet access in my apartment. Still not sure HOW that happened. It just magically connected last night. O.o
I'm not complaning tho.
I have a friend who is defending this spring... sounds stressful. I'm glad I never went to grad school (even though I was accepted...)

, all I know is I had to write a 10,000 word dissertation on anything to do with Media Communications. I chose to write about adaptation, specifically concentrating on Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights and Frankenstein. And to boot, I completed it this morning, now all I have to do is edit is and add in aaaaall my references. If I do well it'll make my last few months of Uni all the better.

@Chi- Defending just means that you stand in front of a group of people and your proffs and then give a presentation on your research or paper...and then everyone applaudes and then everyone leaves except for the proffs that are on your committee...and then hammer you to death with questions. And if you do well, you get to graduate with a degree...if you dont...then they send you back to do more work...hehe. I'm dreading mine...it's a few months away though....

I'm still excited about playing the bassoon in college, sure it's a community college, but it'll do for me, and then I can go to a university and maybe after all of that time, including community college I might be good enough to major on it.
I swear, that'd make me a happy person.
So not much happened to bring me down today. It wasn't a good day, (such days never exist.) but it wasn't terrible either.
I just don't know how I'm going to get myself a saxophone as well... Graduation present? Anybody here graduated(from high school)? are people that nice? XD

@Sax-when i graduated hs, i got jewlry....which i guess if you tally it all up, would amount to like...a new saxaphone or close to it...so if you start asking now, maybe they will get you one instead of other things. You should start asking....asap

Thanks for the explanation Molec. We don't really do anything like that here unless its part of a specific course. I will have a presentation to do in front of my tutors but after last semesters fiasco I can handle it. Good luck with yours.
I just noticed how similar Bacon looks compared to his avatar dude, aside from having a rounder face (and big schnoz). I could totally see Bacon being CGed with white hair, though

Sax: Like Molec says, definitely let your family know that you want a saxophone as your graduation present. That way, you (and they) will have time to look around for good deals--not to mention a sax that's right for you. If money is an issue, you can say that you only want the sax and there's no need to get other gifts. Family usually do become rather generous come graduation time...but then, that would depend on the family. Hopefully yours will be.
