Fushigi- That stinks to have to go to school even when it snows a lot. (Wow, and I thought 26 degrees was cold... -25 would be unbearable for me)

My wife and I have stopped the reading minds (unspoken expectations) problem after a lot of work and it's still hard to not fall into it. It appears to be in human nature to expect others to read non-verbal cues.
Not saying that to belittle the disappointment. Fact is, you feel what you feel and have to work through feelings rather than turn them off. Just a note from my experience from being married for 11 1/2 years.

I just watched the Imaginations Through the Looking Glass DVD that my GF got me very spectacular. That would be so amazing to be in the front of a huge venue like that. I should temporarilly move to Germany when they hold the next festival.
I hate my spanish teacher. She is OK sometimes, and she's nice and all, but she is not understanding in the least. We just had tons of half days and a day off because of the snow, but she's still making this outline due tomorrow. I am done it, thanks to my friend BS, but still. She still wasn't very understanding after my friend passed away or if we have days off in general and stuff. Even my strict chem and math teachers are more flexible when it comes to this sort of thing, and NO ONE likes my math teacher. I hat spanish, thank God I am not taking spanish 4. Spanish can blow me.
On a happier note, I have a half day tomorrow Also, I have off monday. This is weekend is so sweet. Plus, the tuesday I come back from an extended weekend, I will have been with my GF for ten whole months. Pretty sweet.

@Toby-Chan - Tehehe, my life has been filled with many moments like that. @ed_drink_your_milk - Ideally, all grandma should be fair and unbiased, IMO. But I think some of them behave biased and unfair anyway. Actually, many of them do, I think. Just because they achieved to be Grandma do not mean they are great people. Many have biases like everyone else, I think. Don't let it bother you. From what I see, you are a beautiful, bright, and very caring young lady. My advise is to let whatever she said fly over your head, and don't give any chance for that to stick to your mind. Hopefully, by tomorrow, you'll forget everything she said.

My ex and I used to do the whole mind reading thing all the time. Except neither of us could read minds but we were sure the other could.
I think it's part of our animal nature coming through since animals use non-verbal cues instead of verbal.

I noticed that with couples.
My ex and I used to do the whole mind reading thing all the time. Except neither of us could read minds but we were sure the other could.
I think it's part of our animal nature coming through since animals use non-verbal cues instead of verbal.
@The RZA - Yeah, in a way, I'm glad that you still have those good memories of him, but sad that that's all you have left, and you'll have no more chance of adding more memories.

I do not know why Cloey_lee got grounded. All I know is I called her earlier, and she said she could not talk, 'cause she is grounded.
Not to suggest that my group communicate poorly, but knowing about a meeting less that 12 hours in advance...8 of them sleeping...is not productive. And its buggered up my dissertation plan as today I was meant to be covering Jane Eyre.

@ Tombow: Nope, the schools don't close. They don't even technically at -40, however the buses won't run at -40. So in my town, we rarely ever get 'snow days', but we've had a few 'cold days' now and then.
Some kids still go to school then so they don't cause trouble at home. They don't do much tho. Some have brought in their game consoles on ocassion.

I think once awhile back I mentioned missing a flash drive. I never did find it... until yesterday. There it was, in plain sight in my closet. I'm glad to have it back, but >.<.

I think that's a good idea, to stop the mind-reading thing, especially when the only time you really can read minds is when it comes to all the trivial things like finishing each other's sentences.

Well, I just found out that my dad needs surgery, and we just got a phone call that my uncle had a stroke and we cant get to him until tomorrow afternoon....*scratches head* Man, how i hate this time of the year....

I'm glad that your house is clean, that you're going to have fun tonight, that it's warming up and that you feel better--I'm especially glad about the last one.
Another uneventful Friday...but it's Friday, so all is well. Actually, this Friday is somewhat better than others before it, because I got my Canterbury Tales paper back and did better than I had expected. (B, with praising/helpful comments. =D) And well...the weather today is great. Granted, it was rather sunny, but still very cool. And right now, the sunset is painting one portion of the sky with warm hues, yet most of it is still a wonderfully happy shade of blue. And don't get me started with the wispy clouds~
Mm, yeah. I think I'm going to stare out the window until it's too dark to see anything.

My dad needs surgery bc he has like...some sort of hernea and his insides are like...leaking out or something (he's not telling me bc he doesnt want me to worry). My uncle..well, we are going to find out tomorrow....unless things turn bad, in which case we are all gonna be insomniacs and move to jersey tonite.
And as for Monday...in actuality, I get Monday-Wed off every week...but that's time that i spend in the lab....which i dont know if i can get in, now that i think about it, bc my security pass is in limbo....i wish i had it, though. As for my heath, well...im dodging the plague that my sis has, and my sanity...well, that's been gone for a while now....i kinda miss it now and then
