baack.
so anyway, this past week was finals [hell] week, but i had a portfolio due last saturday and two portfolios and a design project due today, so i had to do all that on top of finals and extracurricular stuff. so basically it was every day 3-5ish newspaper, 5-6 relax, 6-7 dinner, 7-11 portfolio, 11-12 shower, 12-3:30ish hw and finals studying, 3:30 to 7:15 sleep. i finished the USC portfolio for last saturday without too many problems, then settled into my lovely little schedule...econ final was okay, japanese final was easy, newspaper and art didn't have finals, calc was so ridiculously hard i thought i was going to cry (goodbye to the beautiful B i finally dragged up from a C), lang final was okay except the essay, and physics was so ridiculously hard i wanted to chuck the testing partitions at mr. drennan's head. hopefully my C won't drop any lower.
i had class off yesterday, but i had to do my entire carnegie mellon design project and portfolio and UCLA portfolio. so i woke up, drove around town and took 54 pictures for the photography part of the design project, dropped off the film for developing, ate lunch, got the photos around 3, and from 3pm to 9pm i worked on the design project and portfolio stuff. 9-10 was dinner with my parents at tomisushi, 10-11 was showering, and then more portfolio stuff from 11-1. then from 1-3 i accidentally fell asleep, which i guess was a good thing because i really needed those two hours. and finally from 3am to 9:30am i burned the CDs for my portfolios, did the design project, and did the supplement apps for CMU and UCLA. then i turned it in to the post office, came home, and promptly collapsed on my desk. but then i had to go to art class for another few hours, and now i'm finally home, ahhh.
</griping> but now that the worst is over with, i can relax a little bit because i don't have my last two portfolios due until february, even though they're the important ones. and i was looking through some new threads and i see we've been graced with another wave of dumbasses. and here i thought the GP had a little off-time.....but ah well, c'est la vie. </second half of griping>
and has anyone watched bleach 14 yet? it's AWESOME. there are few things awesome-er than ishida with a sword strapped to the top of his head. ishida was drawn really well again, but ichigo and rukia weren't. and the new ED sounds good, but there were some mis-translations of the lyrics and the animation was way too slow for the song, which is pretty upbeat. but the soul society arc is coming up next episode! and they showed a picture of anime-byakuya!
can't wait to see all the shinigami captains and vices, especially hitsugaya, shunsui, and nanao; plus hitsugaya's seiyuu is paku romi so i'm sure he'll sound good.
ack, long post. i'm suffering from lj-withdrawal, as their site is down. and arche....don't spoil your daughter too much
but then again, if i had yelled at my dad when i was a kid, i would have gotten thoroughly smacked, which did teach me my place in the family food chain but wasn't exactly great parenting. or rather, it was very asian parenting.
