@Mei Mei - So, did you send the resume?? >.<
I did manage to get it done that night and sent it to my cousin, only to realize after I turned off my computer that I had a date mixed up. >_< So of course I went back and fixed it, and emailed my cousin with the correction as well as an apology. Good thing she hadn't sent it to her boss yet~
But then, I haven't heard from my cousin, and it's been two days. Zarpi
These past few days have sucked, as far has my health is concerned. This happens every time I come home for break. There's no point denying the illness like I usually do, either, because it's not as though I have to go to class or do homework and such. It's like my body knows I can afford to be sick, and so takes advantage of it. I'm taking medication, which helps a bit, but I wonder if it's making my drowsiness worse? Of course that's to be expected, but I've never experienced the usual side-effects from cold medicine that everyone else seems to. What's worse, I'm losing my appetite for all foods except water...yet I get hungry. What's a girl to do when she needs to eat, but doesn't feel like it?
Okay, enough griping about being sick. Last night's sleep was merely mediocre, though somewhat better than the two nights before it. Hopefully, the drugs will kick in and knock me out till morning.
Good night/morning/afternoon, everyone~
Edit: I forgot to mention: I went to the mall today. Why does that warrant an edit, you ask? No special reason; it's just that mall-going is pretty much a once-or-twice-a-year kind of thing (though my mom wishes it weren't so). Anyway. I justed needed to use a gift card. I'm sure the trip was enjoyable, but since I was feeling like crap, I didn't really notice.
It was the first time that I drove to the mall, and my dad was paranoid. He offered to drive us there, but my mom refused. Well, she didn't refuse him herself, but every time he tags along our no-objective shopping trips, he always complains about things being too expensive, saying that he can find a similar product for less in Downtown LA. (This renders the gift card useless, which isn't the point at all.) I personally don't mind shopping with my dad, but my mom always exchanges these looks
with my sister, and they get all irritated, while I just want to go home. So. I told my dad I can handle it, so he need not trouble with taking us to the mall.
And what did my sister say when she got in the car? "Wow...you really crushed Dad."
My reaction: ?!?!???
When we got home, my dad was pacing across the driveway.
