I'm babysitting two young boys today; it's the first time I've babysat in a long time, and before when I used to do it it was only for a short time and the kids weren't awake that long after their mom left. I'm gonna be taking care of these two boys for like....4:00 to possibly midnight. o.o I just need stuff to occupy their time till they go to bed at 8:30.
And personally, when I was young I liked it when my babysitter made me yummy things to eat, so I'd like to find something for us to cook to make busy time.
I'm thinking of something like cookies, although I would prefer pretzels. (I had this great pretzel recipe which I lost O_o) I don't want anything with a high sugar content, because 1) the parents don't want them eating too much sugar and 2) I don't wanna deal with a wired 3 and 9 year old. O_O
Also can't have anything with nuts; the youngest has an allergy to them.

Still a week and 2 days till the actual presentation. I hate all these practises, I hate all the paperwork....I hate the fact we all hate each other thanks to it all.
Sara is coming to visit Friday. I haven't seen her since last May and I fear it being weird. I still love her to pieces, but things have changed since she was last here.
Oh back to my other bloody assignment. My tutor is such a racist git, mainly toward the English...who he believes have no concept of a culture different to their own. I'm surrounded by different cultures everyday, I know they are different so I don't know who he's refferring to.

Lmao, nah, he just dropped us off at the show. Luckilly, we got there fairly early cause the turnout was awesome! The place was packed. I feel kind of bad for the suckers who came late and had to stand back near the door! Oh well, suckers. But yeah, my dad at a metal concert? haha, he listens to vietnamese music and viet covers of awful american pop songs
But speaking of the show. It was AMAZING! They played most of the BG classics, like Valhalla, Imaginations From the Other Side, Welcome to Dying, and of course, the Bard's Song (In the Forest)! And also the singles from their new CD. I just wish they had better acoustics for the drums. It was somewhat lacking in some of the songs, namely Skalds and Shadows. I was surprised they played And Then There Was Silence, since I would think that's quite a difficult song to perform live, but it sounded OK. Of course lacking since it is such a layered song, but still awesome! I hope like hell they come back to Philly and play again! I would buy tickets the first day they come out.
It was awesome going with my GF, though. She didn't like the first band, either. But she said Blind Guardian was pretty good. Haha, by the end of the show, she actually raised a few cornas
Which is odd seeing how she mainly listens to emo junk. But yeah, I am glad she went with. Best first concert ever!The opening band, Leaves' Eyes sucked, though. Maybe they'll get a better opening band, instead of a lame gothic metal band.[/rant]

Last night was intense. It was synchronous anime viewing night, but in the last half of Death Note, my brother and his girlfriend started watching Battlestar Galactica, so I was dividing my attention between reading the subs and watching BSG and typing 3-4 letter responses in IRC. Last night was intense. It was synchronous anime viewing night, but in the last half of Death Note, my brother and his girlfriend started watching Battlestar Galactica, so I was dividing my attention between reading the subs and watching BSG and typing 3-4 letter responses in IRC. I just got back from a really boring party. I mean, we just went in the pool, ate, and I nearly fell asleep while waiting for the kids to come back. I got upset because the water was freezing and everyone kept splashing me and got my clothes all wet so I left.
THOUGHTS:
-I got my hands on FMA volume ten. I cried a lot because Lust died.
-I think I was the first one in Borders to get my hands on Detective Conan volume fourteen.
-I'm so jealous of Elfen Lied's artist. I want to draw like that.
-Mozilla Firefox sucks. It's too slow on my computer, so I moved to Opera. It's a faster browser.
-I'm sleepy, but if I sleep now, I won't be able to sleep at night.

So now the tree looks horrible, and i really dont care...it's not my fault she didnt listen to me. And as for the rest of the stuff that needs to go up...well, it's all scattered about the house....and my stepmom is watching tv...again. Oh well, i have homework...i wash my hands of the mess

Yes, both may be correct, but you'll have to choose depending on what you intend to say.
In your example, if you use "cannot", it means that the children are not allowed to go to school (as in, they can't). If you use "can not", it means that the children have the option of not going to school--using "can" to mean a choice.
"They can go to school, or they can not go to school." <-- It's the negation of a verb.

After the pretzel making and dinner, we watched a movie and then it was their bed time. Then I got to watch the Gankutsuou and FMA DVDs I brought on their freakin' huge TV.
Gankutsuou: no where near as amazing unless you can watch it on a wall size screen. Seriously.
The parents didn't get home till around 2:30 tho. The mom offered to give me a ride home even tho it was so late. (I would've stayed the night...but they have chruch in the morning pretty early, and I wanted to sleep in) I found my bed was the most comfortable it had ever been and I had the greatest sleep ever....and I hate my bed. It's got broken springs poking out of it. Little kids will make any bed feel like a cloud!
And now I have $50. Along with a cold. O-O;; My brother and dad are both sick as dogs and now I'm catching it. D: *eats home made minestrone soup*
