We were even thinking of getting one of these: http://www.invisiblefence.com/ Since our neighborhood doesn't allow our land to have a full-fledged fence. And a fence for our yard would be an extremely difficult thing to do. Our backyard is on a hill with a wall of rocks facing the street. In fact, the only way we could even have a driveway was to make our house face the other direction. >_>

I'm not sure of the exact cost, but I know it wouldn't be cheap.

Say that you won't take it outside unless it is leashed.
You could perhaps go as far as saying that you won't let it out in the yard at all. Claim that it will live indoors and you'll take it out both supervised AND leashed for fun and excercise.
I think the rule is in place in case the dog gets outside by accident.

If not, I think your best bet is to press that you're willing to install the invisible fence, I think. That should be considered as a working protective barrier around your house (I hope).

My little brother threw my little sister on my chest when I was sleeping.
Yesterday, I went to Gameworks with Christopher. It was fun, then we went to Borders. I got Chikyu Misaki volume 1 and Inuyasha volume 24.
At Gameworks, I was playing the game where it's kind of basketball, but the hoops move. Well, one hit the side of the hoop when I hit it really hard, then the stupid thing bounced back and hit me in the stomach, and Christopher was cracking up. When I played another game, I somehow got a hundred tickets, and I thought it was malfunctioning because I had read it as ten. I was screaming, "CHRIS, LOOK!" and he was pretty happy, too. We ended up, in total, with 2805 or so tickets. It was fun.
Well, I joined Runescape. It's fun, but I keep on dying. I got attacked by four barbarians at once all on level twenty-nine or so. I freaked out since I am on level seven, so I logged out when I was about to die. I was following somebody who was taking me to the barbarians' village, but I lost him, so I feel sorry for the poor guy. It's...quite an addicting game.

Our new housemate moved in today, her names Mel. The only prior knowledge I had of her was that she came from a place near to my other housemate so I had that in common. BUT she's fantastic, she and Nomi have decided to start going to the gym together but she's into my kind of film and music. I have someone to watch Doctor Who and Torchwood with. She seems so honest...I've been so lucky housemate wise even if I did lose Sara.

@Phoenix- Aww, I hope youre healing well...and that you get back on your feet soon. I used to have pain like that..it wasnt from a car accident, but i know what its like to have high-dose sleeping pills that wont work bc the pain is soo bad...it will get better, though
It's most fun to mess with your sib's heads when it comes to christmas presents...right now i have my sis thinking that my dad bought her a pink sweater Though it is kinda sad that its only November and my parents are already shopping for the holidays. Hell, my dad forgot that next week is Thanksgiving i bet he will forget about my birthday too...hahahaha
I ended up making a Facebook account...its most entertaining...ppl that i knew from waaay back in high school found me!! They all look soo different

My thoughts at the moment: I'm so sick of school... People keep telling me to "just get through the year - then you'll be ok" Yeah, sure, but then I'll be in college! AAHHHH!!!!! I <3 DQ!!! And ive never had that one,..though i know that the French silk blizzard is to die for. I miss DQ...we dont have them here in NY...well, maybe upstate. But its horrible that i see the commercials for it, and i cant have it. WEll, that and Sonics. I have yet to find a sonics anywhere around here..and theyre shakes and icie drinks look soo yummie

It's well into boxelder bug season, so naturally I'm used to having the things crawl on me at odd times, usually to be shooed away with a little flick. There are the odd moments when I still get enamored with their cute nature all over again, though. I didn't really want to, but it was an uncontrollable urge of dorkiness and 'squee factor' that forced me to drop everything and let this one crawl all over my fingers, hand, wrist, keyboard, up the monitor (such a tenacious little guy. He kept slipping, but going at it anyhow.) and now, he found a resting place in the fax-cord jack. I wonder how long he'll stay holed up in there.
It's really surprising how much joy some little teeny creatures like bugs can bring. A common little bug, but there's so much to love. <3
Oh, and it's finally snowing.

Awesome. I finished grading test papers last week. Not impressed with some of them, but at least the lowest mark was only 50! I think.

- I feel very worthless. Much thanks to my mother.
- She says I've grown skinny because I don't eat much (what!?), and that I look like a skeleton.
- Also, she did not hesitate to tell me that a skeleton looks better than me.
- Then she goes on a spiel about how my lips are chapped, and that a 3-year-old takes better care of his/her lips than I do.
- So what if I just haven't applied chapstick this morning? I do that almost every night before I go to bed.
- I think she needs to stop assuming things, because all it does is make me feel useless.

^My mother used to make me feel that way too, Quiss. I just really never pay attention to her, just ignored her. I'm not sure if that will work, but it did for me.
