Oh, man! I just had a looksee at the old website I made when I was... I think fifteen (so recent?) for putting up my drawings at the time.

Well, Im back...
I been at the hospital, because some more things came up from the car accident. Apparently i damaged my colon in the wreck. So last week i needed emergency surgery on it...Wierd story behind it. So before this i did went back to college because i felt alright. I got up the next moring and i could not get out of bed becasue of my shoulder hurting me immensely. So i said, "screw school" and went back home to recover for a week.
At home i was actually doing kinda fine. Until...the second night home i was throwing up heavly and my lower stomach/belly area was at the max pain scale. So my mother drove me to the emergency room and well after a few tests/x-rays. They found out that i have a perforated bowel, and that i needed emergency surgery. So that said and done. I spend a week recoving at the hospital, and now i'm finally home.
But not to get into great detail i now have this bag attaced...and enough said. And if you know what im talking about, well... the good thing is that it is reversable and that is going to happen in 3 months(they say less). Now becasue of this I can't go back to college till next year, which sucks.
So now i'm in pain; recovering in pain. Feeling emo...

phoenix: Ahhh, geez, that sucks! I hope nothing else comes up... The most important thing is to get your body back to functionality, so don't worry too much about not going back to college.

How did it manage to slip my mind that I hate the smell of perfume? Maybe I was just hopeful that the nice designer stuff mom got for her birthday would be nice to sample. Yegh. I guess it wouldn't be horrible on somebody, but still... perfume is yucky. Am I alone in this sentiment?

Tombow: Hehe...It was, ah...interesting. ; Compared to our first try at making pasta, this time was definitely more successful, though the pasta was still much thicker than it was supposed to be. We made the filling out of chopped spinach (the kind you get frozen in a box), leftover sausages that've been previously cooked, and, um, string cheese that we melted in a pan. (That was interesting. XD And we only had enough cheese for about half the ravioli, so it was a surprise as to whether or not yours would end up chewy.) We made the ravioli pretty big, but there weren't enough space between each one when we cut them, so some of them were leaking spinach juice (water from cooking the frozen spinach) and others were patched together in layers because our second piece of dough didn't fit over the first one quite right. I was afraid some were going to burst, but none did.
One of my group mates said that raw pasta hardens the more you cook it...and ours were overcooked. So they were hard.
Still, it was edible. I'd say the best part would be right at the filling's center, where the pasta was thinner than the edges. It came out okay, I think, but I still needed to supplement my dinner with a banana and my last persimmon. =P

Today was a good day. My friend and I went out thrift store shopping. I found a computer chair for 2.99 in really good shape, the hydrolics work just fine and it's clean except for some cat hair but that was easy to fix. I actually cried while driving home.
That is ridiculous. My next-door neighbors have a dog and no fenced-in yard and they don't seem to have any problems like that at all. We actually had more problems with Miyuki than they ever did, because she had a habit of jumping over our fence to get out.

That's kind of stupid. Is it the humane society that executes animals after a certain amount of time if they do not get an owner?
Assuming that it is, it's kind of... retarded to not allow someone to take the dog because "they might get hit by a car" when they're only going to go back and kill it.
You could possibly try and get the dog on a technicality by saying they previously OKed it and had no problems with it and are now changing their minds (if you can get a traffic ticket waived on the basis of a misspelled name then I'm sure you could do that). I am not sure if that would work though, you still have the paperwork that showed that they OKed it previously right?
Either way... that's really messed up.
The Humane Society doesn't take in strays, so they don't put any pets down. Owners take their pet there when they can't take of the animal anymore.

At the very least your dog will be safe in the meantime. If you push hard enough though they should givr. Of course, that has only been proven with traffic tickets so once again... I could be wrong. In the case of the traffic ticket though, my friend took it to court.
D: That totally sucks, Kara. Push for it like you planned, emphasising that you were 'wronged' in the first place, by being deceptively okayed. If worse comes to worst, you can put up a small cheap fence so you can say you technically do have one. Maybe. I find the rule stupid. It should be a strong reccomendation; not a requirement, and especially if you have proven yourselves good responsible owners, they shouldn't focus on counting on such an unlikely accident.
