Blah, I hate how the air gets dry so suddenly around here. (It turns fall so fast; the colors change and the weather gets chilly like BAM. Hasn't yet, but I know it's coming soon.)
The worst part for me is that it's murder on my skin, especially when it's so sudden. I have to keep the shower running and turn the fan off so the bathroom turns into a steam room while I put lotion on so my face won't fall off.

Cause I couldn't even make it through 20 minutes of Kill Bill on the TV edit version. It wasn't really the gore that bugged me (though that hacking the tendon thing was totally cringe worthy and made me go "Gyeh!" out loud") but because The Bride's motives, in spite of all she's been through, were so hard to garner any sort of sympathy enough to support or tolerate watching for. So, in spite of how much I usually rant, I turned off a movie for moral objections. (And really Fecking obvious ones too.)
A pity, cause the cinematography and direction were cool. It just made me feel too yucky to watch.

I was soooo torn..we have to work in teams of two for one of my classes. And I was torn...i could have either worked with a friend of mine (who is an undergrad, but ive known since i started at this university) or another graduate student (namly the one grad student who is like...totally the best in the ecology and evolution div of our dept). So i was torn...do i forsake my friend for prestige? Do i ask my friend and throw away this opportunity to work with someone who ranks as high as me in the dept?? Do I abandon my friend...?????
I chose my friend...and i just recieved an email from the other grad that i concidered asking...asking me if i wanted to partner with him. I feel....upset now. Did I make the right choice?

The opportunity to work with another briliant mind attracts me, but then if the person is someone difficult to work with, that would mar the whole experience... What's your assessment of that grad student on that?? If the person seems to have ok personality to work with, then, since it's still early, me thinks that if you really want to work with that grad student, you maight still be able to switch the partner, by frankly asking your undergrad student to let you go and team with another student??
If I were that undergrad student, I would be honored that you had picked me initially, but I would understand if you'd like to pursue this opportunity to work with another brilliant mind. ... Maybe your friend can understand it, too?? And, then maybe you can make up with some other way??

Just make it up. Basicly it's antiquated English (like Shakespear) with a few embelishments. Add lots of "yarr"s, an occasional "Ye" and sprinkle in some "Avast" "Scurvy swine/knave/cur", "Wench" and have a good ol' thing o' Grog (drink of your choice.)

Swiss Farms fukking sucks. I hate that place so much. I like how Jess' boss always calls her in when they need someone, and if she says no, he'll get pissed, but no, he never freakin calls anyone else in. He always immediately calls Jess in. F*cking douchebag. Now I probably won't even see her till god knows when. On top of all that, her mom is like getting pissed that Jess doesn't want to work 9 and a half hours today. The store clerk at my comic book store gave me a manga...but he forgot to read the lable that it was for eighteens and it was mature

Fun fun fun last night.
...well besides work. The special today was italian susage with onions and peppers. So i had to cook up a ton of onions and them peppers. That smell stays with you There were too many people last night, way more than normal. And since it was friday, towards closing time we get all the drunk people. So of coure they want a lot of food; crazy drunks. My college is having its 'family' weekend, so every one has there parents/ family over. So at work we shall have too many people yet again. I'm going to die on that grill tonight >_<

I was going into a local (non-Pennsylvanian) drug store while pseudo-Slash was coming out--at a distance of two meters or so, I couldn't help but notice that this guy had your hair, and when he turned around, it appeared that he had your face, too! Maaan, that flea market sucked. What a disappointment. Worst. Junk. Ever. I was so looking forward to looting out some awesome little treasures.
Though I did get my own pack of mini donuts. And since my mom held a sale out of that old abandoned house that my grandparents owned, (My little sister danced in a chicken suit again to attract customers and surprisingly did very well, and even got people to join her) I exploited one upstairs room for a little photo-taking. Unfortunately, I had nobody to model for me, so I 'went myspace' (Except with the timer function so it didn't look retarded) and did some self portraits that turned out rather cool. When sister came in for a break I got her dressed up and took some pictures, but by then the light was crappy and most of them were underexposed or fuzzy.
I need to put together the chicken dancing videos from last week and this week.
And I got this really short clip of an old guy dancing all by himself while the folk band played at the fair today.
