I was planning on job hunting today, but instead, reserved that for Sunday. Today, I told my 'rents I was gonna go job hunting, but I got coaxed into hanging out today with the Misses and she would help me fill out apps, etc Sunday.Ha.
Saturday, her life-long best friend is coming back up to visit from Indiana. I hope I make a good first impression. I talked to her for a bit online and on the phone, but not much. So yeah. Hopefully it is cool. Not that I really need approval :/
I am almost done summer reading. I totally BS'ed my last packet a few days ago. Whoever added A People's History of the United States 1492-Present to the reading list is a fukking moron and should be shot.
Edit: Ugh, why is my net so slow... I hate it. I always get sh*tty service. These torrents are gonna take forever. Torrents are usually pretty darn slow. Maybe it is because I am DLing 3 at once, but still...

I've been in an inky mood this evening. It's almost 1 AM, and I'm up, crosshatching away with my trusty little sharpie. Managed to do another goofy Ergo Proxy picture (I was style-lucky today!) and inked that, then sketched out this concept I had for a panel in an original comic and I'm still in the process of inking it. It turned out looking a little suggestive, though, completely unintentionally. It was meant to be surreal, but I guess when you have a naked chick biting something within your pic, that'll look erotic to the layman, won't it?
Granted, I didn't really have to make her naked, but it looked nicer aesthetically, and symbolic images do better without clothing, unless it's directly part of the symbolism. Her shoulders were reaaaally fun to draw. (I just love shoulders) and granted, nothing's really showing since it's heavily shadowed. (Which made the inking a biatch.)

Hahaha, the cake is fine, and most yummie!!!! It even has those little sugar pumpkin candy things on top...i have to hide it from my parents though, bc they eat it all and then i get yelled at for bringing junkfood in the house and ruining their diet....go fig.
