(Dear
darkanshi-san,)
Hyaa~ :}
I meant to send you a PM, I totally and seriously meant to type one out and send one at the end of each week, but...but...>DDYush, er...long time no shpeaky~

As of right now, I have two more finals to go: Japanese and Analysis.

Finals aren't looked upon very favorably by the general student body (*eyes Aaron's g-mail away message which says "Exams Suck!"* XD), but it hasn't been too bad so far. Not sure quite how well the Physics final turned out yet, although that very densely-filled, double-sided formula sheet was quite a life-saver. >3 I just took the Government and Honors British Literature ones today, and I'm still aliiive, so yay~ Er, I guess I did get slightly thrown off by last year's one-exam-per-day-ishy-yay schedule. X3 Two consecutive exams in one day can be a bit....draining at times, I suppose. >3 *was wandering around during the 15 minute break feeling sort of faint* I'm guessing I managed to do fairly well on both of them though, and I actually finished my English essay for once~!
Well...at the expense of staying after for like seven minutes. >D
Actually, I only sat there for like 4 minutes after the bell rang cramming in the second body paragraph, but when I went to hand it in, Dr. Thorpe was all dismayed to hear that I had left out the conclusion. "But [EKE]~~~ This is your last essay for the entire year—just think of what an absolute
shame it would be if you didn't complete it, and all because of some little conclusion that you could just make up in less than five minutes~" And she sends me back to my seat to finish it. XDD
Oi, and I actually got an A on that research paper I stayed up all night to hand in on time! I actually have an
A on an essay for once, kyaa~ *pops confetti* As such, the conspicuous "D" on my progress report has apparently been dragged up to a B, so if I haven't screwed up in Math Analysis, I might actually make it back onto honor roll~ :}
The bus actually showed up at dismissal time like it was supposed to (unlike yesterday when it decided to randomly vanish yet
again—
whyyy is it always, always, always our bus~? >D—so I had to set out on foot and didn't get home until like 1:30 PM), so yay. However, I'm going to be walking back to school later today anyways, because a friend decided to sign up a bunch of us random peoples as the Japan/Chess Club team for some random Ultimate Frisbee Tournament that's being held during the evening. I can't play frisbee for my life (and several others' >3), but who really cares, since it's the end of the year and all. X3 I'm supposed to show up by around 5:30 so that I can learn how to catch a frisbee properly and stuffy.
Now, yesterday I had no exams, so I just came in and glazed random ceramics things for four hours.

I fooouund my nice teacup that I had been all excited about glazing and using—only to be dismayed that someone else had already gone ahead and glazed it up in random yicky colors, despite my initials and such being etched clearly on the bottom. XD It looks like it took me too long to find it and someone just ended up taking it. Oh well, seeing as I got to glaze a bunch of other leftover things—like four or five of which were not originally mine...>D— I'm not going to complain more.

Oi, and I glazed the giant strawberry I made and stuffies (one of the leaves fell off in the kiln, but I'll reattach it later).
Ichigo decided to join me for the second exam period, and I didn't want her to see it, so I had her partially blindfolded for most of the two hours...>D It was most amusing.
So, the school year pretty much ends this week.

Technically the last day is Friday, but since exams finish on Thursday almost no one ever comes in afterwards, so we get like the whole school to ourselves and no one cares if you cut
every single one of like half your classes of throw playing cards around the orchestra room. XP The ceramics teacher likes to bake random things in the kiln too, so yay~ (Last year she baked cookies and brought in ice cream, so we had ice cream sandwiches~ :3) Jason was like ":O~ You can bake random things in a kiln?
Awesome! Can we put Aaron in there?" >D
To celebrate the end of the year, we were kind of thinking of gathering the "quartet"-ishy over at Jason's house later this week (since he has a pool and stuffy). Eh, we were going to go with Friday, but since it seems that
Ichigo will probably have to work that afternoon we moved it over to Thursday...except that another friend had this group picnic planned for Thursday afternoon as well...

Oh, and the A cappella choir thingy? I got rejected again, haha. ♥ I kind of thought that I might have actually had some sort of chance this year, since I spent at least a month practicing everything and trying to improve, but I guess it wasn't enough. :\ I squeaked on the top notes of the high scale, and kind of went off going up the chromatic scale because I was singing it a little too fast. And I totally botched up my breathing. >D I kind of feel like I let Jason down, too, seeing as he's nagged me about the breathing so many times in the past few months and I
still messed it up...>D *spent the weekend sulking because all her middle school dreams are escaping her* And this one random guy who didn't bother to practice anything
at all until the day before got in, ahh the irony~ Oh well, life works in strange ways. This freshman acquaintance guy braved the smob to look at the list for me, and emerged with this
really sympathetic face on—it almost made up for not getting in at the time, seriously. XD Besides, it's not worth crying for another hour like freshman year.
Mmf, what else....I've been watching a lot more random anime lately than usual, it seems. Shin Shirayuki Hime Densetsu Pretear is such a cool anime~ *__* They changed a bunch of plot bits here and there from the manga, but it's still awesome. X3 I'm currently (slowly) going through Kita e
~Diamond Dust Drops~ and Chrno Crusade, and I have one more episode of the first season of Tsubasa Chronicles to finish watching. And I found yet another bunch of these karaoke songs that I've wanted to sing, although that's kind of undermined by the way I've been avoiding the microphone lately.

It sounds like you're having fun in Poland, despite the lack of any specific events being noted.
Can't anyone write me a PM longer than six sentences these days besides Quistis-sama? >D Sheesh.Bleh, and I'm sure you're incredibly bored of reading useless junk about my life by now, so I'll just draw things to a close for now. Have a happy rest-of-your-vacation off in Europe. また連絡しよう、ね?
Jaa!
~Elderberry
P.S. Mwar, and I sure hope you don't mind that this is doubling for my semi-periodical 'Penny For Your Thoughts' event-listing post (and a couple other things....), since I'm just too lazy to paraphrase. If you do happen to mind, well then that's too bad. >D I won't care even if you decide to stop sending me those crummy Photoshopped "Anshiballoons" of yours. >P
