Tonight we're having some sort of an awards ceremony. I got a departmental award, but I'm not sure if that's good, really good, or just a way of saying 'you fail at life so we'll give you an award because it costs us nothing.' I feel like it's the latter, seeing as my GPA has dropped to a 3.6, even with honors scaling. It might not seem that bad, but my school is really competitive. Pain in the neck, it is.

I had the wierdest dips and mood swings today- just got out of one, which makes probably my third major bout of 'I'm worthless and suck at life' emoing from the past 24 hours. I'm in a really craptastic mood today.
I'm also in hate with the world after the conversation I just had with the manager of the temp agency I have the misfortune of working for. Even though I've been complaining about this for the past two years, they say I'm missing too much work because I'm sick all the time. I'm sick all the time because the ventilation there sucks and plus it's the Genetic disease branch so put two and two together. They were testing for West Nile right next door to us. Gee? Why am I always sick? He told me I had to suck it up, I've been sucking it up for the past two years. Ialmostwanted to tell him where he could stick it.

Tomorrow on my lunch break I'm going to put in my resume at an aquarium store. Yeah, I'm moving on down instead of up but I'm only going to be here for a few more months so what the hell. If I'm going to have a shit job it might as well be something I kind of enjoy.

Leave the past behind ya and look forward the better times ahead. No point in the needless suffering. Being higher up on the happiness scale day to day is so much more significant than being at a higher step on the corporate/job ladder. (Plus you'll live longer)

When I'm writing a really long post someplace, and I've accidentally clicked off the textbox just as I'm about to erase the last letter, so instead of the backspace button deleting that letter, it just becomes a short back button and all my writing is lost. *Fume*
