Yes, I was a bit wary to post it because of the name and some of the content, but it seems that they have relevant and believable support from scientists and veterinarians.

I think they do feel pain, I think the whole mindset of fish not feeling pain is BS. How would they know to stay away from preditors, if the didn't feel sensation how would they know that having a leg gnawed off by a preditor is a bad thing and needs to be avoided? Sure, they have exoskeletons but an animal that doesn't feel pain makes no sense.
As for the boiling water. It's been my experience as a fish geek that animals who live in cold water, if thrown into warm water will go into shock, I mean without being acclimated at all. Crabs and lobsters are cold water animals, when they are thrown into boiling water they go into shock and die soon afterward. The last time I cooked crab it died imediately.
After watching some of these cooking shows I think its actually more humane to throw them into a pot of boiling water than it is to "euthinize" them.

My crappy headphones broke. They were the kind that have the bridge that go across the top of your head... regular ones. I went out and got new ones and I like these style ones better. It is the one that has two seperate phones for each ear with the earclips
much less of a hassle and takes up less space. Plus you can 'share' what you are listening to with the person next to. And sharing is caring.I don't think anyone has ever written so much gibberish about buying headphones

Oh, I know that now. It's just that after I listened to Missing and the Funny Bunny cover, which were so much more mature in style and voice, I expected them to at least not be a friggin' horrible Blink-182 gone bad rip off . Gah, they really ruined my day.
Haha, yes, they really are pretty much a japanese version of various american bands like Blink182. I don't know about lyrically, but definitely in their style of music, most notably their vocals... I can't believe they did a Pillows cover. The Pillows are way better.

I kind of like the tragic humor of those 'Trivia for common folk' specials. There was a canadian show that had a portion like that called "Let's talk to some Americians". They asked questions like "Do you think Canada should outlaw the slaughter of Polar Bears in Quebec?"
There was a show here in the UK which had a segment "UK v US"
in which people would go out and ask members of the public from each country simple questions and the ressults weren't in the US favour.
Questoins included:How many moons do we have(back when we thought there was only one),Who was Gahndi,Where was Russia on a map.
It was close but the Uk usually won by a slim margin.It was more amaizing how many people got things like that wrong.
