- Had my last day of work for the year today! The first set of children had stage fright, and some of them didn't know what they were supposed to do, even if I explained it over 10 times the week before.
- I love it when children smile back at you when you smile at them.
- Children have to see the candy before they are able to be bribed with them.
- Had to go to work an hour early and stay an hour and a half late, which means more on my next paycheck.

- Yesterday was the last day for Sunday School!!!! *dances* And you wanna know what!?!? My children gave me a shirt that says "xoxoSABRINAxoxo", in pink and black graffitti writing... *weeps* I am LOVED!!!
Aww, that's so sweet of them. ;___; I teach 50+ kids and they don't do that for me . . . am I not loved? But then again, the little girls frequently give me hugs. But I also wonder if they're trying to suck up or get candy.
Those kids of yours need a darn good spanking, being so mean! Before class was dismissed too, they all gave me a big hug!!! And Christmas cards, of course... Oh well, if they don't love you, WE do, Mommy!

I actually love some of those kids! Well, to be honest, I love all of them, regardless of their behavior, and I can tell that some of the kids love me, too. Especially the little boys in class F. They're so cute when they ask questions and stutter a little. One of them asked today, right before he had to perform for the concert, "Teacher, do I look handsome?" And I straightened his little burgundy tie and told him, "Yes." It was so cute!

At least 5 of them thought I'm a 39 year old widow, and about 3 of them thought I was 16. They either guess WAY too high, or too low. I confess that I'm 18 and I receive expressions of utter surprise.

I know what you mean, Mommy... most people say, "You're 25, right?"... another batch goes, "13? In 7th grade, correct?" It makes you wanna lay the hurt on 'em... That bad little boy of my class specially claims me as his older sister, because his big brother was once my boyfriend... obviously, the kid's still under the delusion that we're going out...
