Back at the dorm, and Spring Break is unofficially over. Tomorrow, mei will do all the work she meant to do over the break, but didn't, because that is the natural way of the world.
It was a good week, though. Hung out with family, had a few days of anime/manga marathons, went to a live forum hosted by a radio station in which high school students and other "young people" talked about what they thought about the anti-immigration bills (in response to the walkouts that occured in schools all over Southern California last week), learned to play rummy, and ate some really good ramen.
Daylight Savings sucks. Mei didn't even know it starts tonight till her dad called and told her.
Heck, mei didn't even realize it was April Fool's Day until the flight pilot said over the intercom that we were going to Honolulu, Hawaii. Which we weren't, of course.
Ah, people are starting to return. Mei's roommate is already back, and mei thought she wouldn't be till tomorrow. Mei was kind of hoping to wake up to natural morning light, but mei's roommate prefers the curtains to be closed during sleeping hours. Oh well.
