Heck no! I think those are yucky. My nails just grow and I'm too slow/lazy to keep up with them, so they'll usually come off looking average, until I pick at them or they break, which is frequent, depending on what I'm doing or what time of the year it is. They usually grow really nicely in the summer, without breaking or chipping at all. It's odd, because that isn't due to lack of activity; far from it. Even after a week of rigorous camping/climbing/tubing/playingwithrocks/whatever, they still stay strong, and yet after my first week of school, they come out stubby, chipped and broken just from the constant shuffling of books and zipping of zippers.
The watercolor pencils aren't mine. My friend brought them to drawing class, and she has two 24-pack tins, so she let me borrow one for the weekend.
I checked out a few volumes of the viz translation of FMA manga. For the most part it's standable, but a lot of translation choices were yucky. Everytime Al said "Edward", especially at really crucial moments, my heart became sad. It should be only a small technicality, but it really gets under my skin, to the point that I really don't want to keep reading through those parts.
Re-reading it has reminded me how much I prefer the way the anime handled most of the earlier events. (How many people would kill me for saying that? Hmm.... ________ this many!)
