Hi
Mo' I wondered where you went off to.

Poor baby, I hope you can get more sleep soon.
ChiyoSorry you can't be with your mother for mothers day.
TobyYeah, I think sad is the word you want to use right there. I was always schocked when people didn't know words in high school that I considered common.
It's odd isn't it. I mean, I can kind of get why Dana didn't understand what "Phallus" meant when I said it, but other than that, there are some pretty basic words people just don't get.
*Sigh* It's sad that these people get better grades than I do.

A girl in my psychology class had to ask her friend what "Envious" meant when it was used on one of our worksheets. Yes, we are all seniors just a couple months from graduation.
Is 'sad' the proper term?

'Sad' is a perfect term.
Haha, last year in my language arts class we were reading LotF, and over half of the people in my class had no idea what a 'conch' was. Then later when I was put into a group for an assignment, I used the word 'incorporate' and they all stared at me while exclaiming that I used a big word. Oh, there was also a girl who didn't know what a 'barbarian' was.
I'm now in honors language arts.

That happens on an all too frequent basis in my class, as well. I can't seem to recall any examples of words that people didn't know, aside from the word 'latter', which I guess some people might not know.
Man, some people...
I recall being sent an instant message from some strange... thing (No idea how it found me) who constantly mispelled things and used webspeak. I told it "Please try to speak coherently." And they asked what coherently meant. I thought maybe it was joking, but it continued to go on about 'no seriously, wut dose it mean? i have really smart friends and i never herd that word b4.' "Are you certain your friends are that smart?" 'yes, because we got an iq test and got 400's on them.' "It's impossible to score 400 on an IQ test, and even then, the measurement makes little difference in showing how honestly smart you are." 'no! caus we took the iq test in school and it said I got a 453.'
It continued to tell me I was so mean and stuck up for using such confusing "Super smart" words.

I mallratted again today, this time with two actual girls, to make up for missed clothes shopping opportunities. I actually didn't buy anything, but we had lots of fun looking at dresses.
There was one boutique that was full of (In addition to standard prom fare) the most gorgeous, lacy, loli-tastic dresses ever. I almost had a heart attack. I'm so totally gay for those dresses! (And I swear, I'd buy one if they weren't hundreds of dollars.) Tried the loli dresses in one place, and in another, I put on a gigantic-skirted yellow-gold dress that looked just like Belle's from Beauty and The Beast. It's fun to wear those and feel pretty.
Also went to my cousin's 7th birthday party. That was a riot. I can't quite remember all the details because I'm effing tired.
Soooo...
Maybe I'll fill in tomorrow.

Tired....

*EDIT*
Oh yeah, I forgot to add- Anime Detour was taking place at a hotel right next to the Mall, so the halls were speckled with various cosplayers, stopping by for some R and R, and food. It was kind of funny to see.
