You know that high school biology stereotype of dissecting a frog? Well, I never did it while I was in high school (we did cats instead), but I did it yesterday.
I have to say, it wasn't as gross as you would expect something like that to be. They really don't have much in the way of guts, they're dead so they don't bleed, and (unlike popular belief) the guts don't all come falling out when you cut it open. Vertebrates (including us) have something called the greater and lesser omentum that keeps that from happening. The lesser omentum connects the intestines together so they don't shift around inside you, and the greater omentum is like a fatty apron inside that cushions your organs.
Ohh, I never got to dissect a frog. I really would have liked to.

... The organs were so cute.

You're making me miss the pig I dissected.

"Final Fantasy" has its own entry in one of the online Chinese dictionaries that I use!

Current Thoughts:- *sighs*
- It has been another long day.
- An even longer day tomorrow is in sight.
- Mother wants me to have dinner with grandparents tomorrow night as well.
- More reading to do.
- Will also do laundry tonight.
- The dishes from yesterday have been washed, but there are still dishes in the sink.
