hehe..sorry about that. It was supposed to sound encouraging.....I just sometimes ramble too much (but I did say it was well worth it in the end...it's just like science and whatnot...everything is long and trying, but the end product is rewarding *hopefully* )
But seriously, if you want to do bio and you really want a minor, then I would strongly suggest that you take chem as your minor. Like I said, the only reason that I didn't do it is because I did two bio tracks (kinda like double-majoring within a major....if that makes any sense...and taking on a minor would have put me on the 6 yr plan....yuck) But have no fear, little science apprentice...I'm sure you are a brilliant student and will pull A's in everything. @ foolmetal: It depends what you drink. If you're gonna drink crappy flavored soda, like rootbeer and orange, then yes...because of all of the sugar, or whatever. But, in general, Coke syrup settles stomachs...it used to be used as a remedy by itself...(even after they removed the cocaine from it ) And ginger ale and 7up are good settlers too. No, they shouldn't make you throw up (at least, in general they shgouldn't....I guess it kinda depends on what you have and how badly you are sick)...but they work like alka-seltzer..they make you burp! Just...don't take alka-seltzer..that's got asprin in it....

Hmm... Eat some bread, crackers, etc. Something to absorb the acid. Do not drink water.
If worse comes to worse, there's some over-the-counter medication I'm sure you can get.
@Foolmetal: Maybe you're just lucky enough to get that really bad stomach virus that won't let you hold down soda/liquids. I don't think that Sprite is one of the crappy flavors....not really my first choice (I'd go with Ginger ale or coke, personally), but sprite shouldn't have made you throw up There is always the option of crackers and such, but that never really worked for me. Or maybe it's time to take a nap, Mr. Foolmetal...sleeping off a sickness (or at least sleeping to the point where you can hold down liquids) may be your best option here.
