Thoughts (now that I posted it in the right place):
-Monk is an awesome show.
-Everyone has left the dorm again. Now I can have peace and quiet when I go to sleep and before I go insane from the fact that it is too quiet out there.
- You know what's funny? When these people name themselves here like "Lt. Colonel Roy Mustang" and "Major Maes Hughes". Man, those guys are going to be surprised when they get promoted after the flashback is over. "OMG! MY name is outdated!!!!1"
At least I picked a name from a game no one has heard of. (I feel so old now.)

It's from Phantasy Star IV for the Sega Genisis. There was this awesome villian called Zio the Black Magician. Even though he wasn't the main villian. He was still better than what Final Fantasy could ever think of. (Yes, even better than Kefka.)

Phantasy Star, eh? Awesome.
Yeah. Most people nowadays have heard of Phantasy Star because of Phantasy Star Online. But the classic stuff is out there. And three of the games are coming out in Febuary on the PS2. One of them is Phantasy Star IV, so go buy it when it comes out on the first.
And I made some little poll asking who would win in a fight, Zio from PSIV or Sephriroth, the bishounen-like swordsman from Final Fantasy 7. It had a very big arguement against Sephy the wuss.

Dec 10 2004, 10:55 PM
Sephiroth was the final boss in his game. Zio bit the dust like 1/3 of the way through. So I ask... who's the wuss?
Ah, PSIV... I spent 2 months saving up my allowance to buy that in '94. Best $95 I ever spent on a game.

This game was a 24-meg cartridge and preceded Final Fantasy VI stateside by a couple of months. It was, I think, the biggest game ever released for the Genesis, so naturally the price would be ridiculous.

It's still Sephiroth. Let's face it: As long as there are writers for these games, the villians will lose no matter what. So style is more important. Zio had more style than a guy who is used by Spehy fanboys to make Yaoi art.
Zio is a villian that can get stuff done, like Joe Pesci. When he warned the Dean at the university that there is no need to go to Birth Valley, what did he do? He sent him a nice statue of a search party member to show that he means business. And Professor Holt tresspassed, so Zio turned him, his assistants and the village of Zema into stone. He also thought ahead of burning down Molcrom, to prevent the inevitable event when the heroes fixed the whole problem. (Damn writers.) Not to mention that Zio killed a better main character than Aeris. Not only did he kill Alys, a women who did not fit into the main stereotype of women in RPGs, but killed her with the Black Energy Wave. A better way to be a villain than just popping out of nowhere and stickin a sword into a girl.
Plus, Zio is better looking than Sephriroth.

Initially the controllers were huge. They later streamlined them when they went from a 3 button standard to a 6 button.
They were never as big as the X-Box pads, though. Yuk.

Actually, the complete line was this
Zio: This... this can't be. I'm supposed to be immortal! Oh, why... Why do
you abandon me? Dark Fo... Aaaargh!
Not really that wussy. And you can understand what he is talking about. If some mystical evil force gave you alot of power and said "You get immortality too." and then a bunch of do-gooders kicked your ass when you had stuff to do, you would be pissed too.
What did Sephiroth say when he got whacked in the end after all of that hard work? (suspecious of those villians who say nothing or say that it is fate.)
