Ooh! There's a girl I'm working on a Mulitcultural Lit project with who does a lot of work in S.H.O.C.K (Students helping other countries' kids- every class takes monthly donations from students to support a specific child.) She says it was mentioned at the last meeting that some of the volunteers may be able to go to Rwanda to meet and stay with the families and do more to help sometime in July.

I would so love to do that! It makes me want to get more involved in S.H.O.C.K.

I think working at McDonalds would be better than my current job not that I've ever had to work fast food, luckily that's a bullet I've been able to dodge.

So no hill to the testing location, except for a minor upward slope. But there's a slope wherever you go, anyway, so it doesn't really count.

The temperature always ends up being lower that what it looks like. mei's feet got cold.

Should probably go through the bookshelf to see what she's willing to part with. None of the novels...nor the big Chinese history one (that one may come in handy)...nor the Zhuangzi or Xunzi books--those are interesting...The Taoist Body was pretty good, too...Records of the Grand Historian's a keeper (Sima Qian's a coot)...

For smackdowns, this is actually pretty constructive. It hasn't gotten close to ugly yet, so don't worry. Unless people start petty name-calling and below-the-belt written assault (which I doubt, considering the parties involved), nobody will come out bruised though it would be more interesting.

Well, I found a couple of links to download it in the "Chapter 54" thread in the FMA manga section of the forums. It was translated by "ZOMG Fruit Tree Alchemists". Some group composed of a couple of members from here, I think.

I had some very good Nestle Tollhouse chocolate chip last night. Just felt the need to rub that in! tongue.gif
I ate like 4 of them, which isn't good, but they were all chocolady and meltedy (I made that up). I must be stressing out, I've been baking out of control again.
