Have I mentioned how much I hate cigarettes? I inhaled a good 500 cubic feet of secondhand smoke walking around Boston today, and my clothes reek of that shit. Then I picked up a cupcake.

No, that would be the Ender's Game series... basically one of my favorite sci-fi series... though there's a lot of military in the paralell part of the series. I suggest buying the book right now O_O! It's not boring and is actually very, very good. Well done characterization and a great and original story-line. Then you'll have to read Speaker of the Dead, and Xenocide, and Children of the Mind! And THEN there's Ender's Shadow, Shadow of the Hegemon, Shadow Puppets, Shadow of the Giant... ><! *points to Borders*...O_O Sorry... I'm just a fan of the books. *cough* Ignore me -_-lll.
And about the fangirls and such... I agree. Especially after going back a few pages and seeing Mini's post about Yaoi-con
