I'm such a Californian that when I first saw that picture I thought it was heavy rain.
Yaoi-con was tons of fun yesterday. Although, there wasn't enough yaoi for my liking. Figure that one out. It was a small con which kind of annoyed me because it cost so much to get in yet it was so small. Although there were lots of things to do.
Had my picture taken a lot, not that I'm complaining I'm flattered people liked my costume. There was a photographer who was taking pictures of cosplayers for a gallery exhibit and I was one of the people she picked.
There were many fangirls I wanted to stab. I had a few that would run up to me and squeel palmtreeee
at me which in itself wouldn't be so annoying except they would do it every damn time
they saw me. The ones I really wanted to stab were the ones who would come up and flap around the strands of my wigs while squeeling palmtreee!
Next time I'm carrying a butcher knife in my bag just for such and occasion and if anyone says anything, I was in character what can I say?
Maybe I'll just feed them to Gluttony.
I got my first running glomp from a supposed Wrath cosplayer in the ladies room.
The bishie auction was fun! One Cid Highwind cosplayer went for $1300, no lie. He was a hottie too, good looking guy with a nice body and he made an excellent Cid, and I don't even like Cid. If I had the funds I may have bid on him myself.
But, I don't have $1300 to spend so friviously so I didn't .
Was almost run over by a very large fangirl when I went up to tip one of the bishies I wanted a closer look at. I turned around she was right up on me in a mad dash to tip the bishie. Luckily I was able to dodge her so I'm here to tell the tale. Fangirls gone wild indeed.
Sorry girls, no Edwards.
