Yes, that's how it got bumped up on my priority list...or, rather, my brother bumped it up for me.

What helped is that I really like Kaylee, and the fact that she's played by Jewel Staite, who played Becca from Flash Forward. I loved that show (though, oddly enough, I remember nothing of it, just that I loved it).

- Ugh, so tired. Interesting lecture on Confucius, though.
- I don't feel like eating dinner...but I guess I'll see if I feel the same way two hours later. I doubt that I will...

The beginning is good but it seems to taper off in the "exiting" category as the story progresses, i.e. predictable.

Thoughts:
-Had fun with "Agent Smith" tonight on my coffee date. biggrin.gif

-We walked up Peidmont looking in windows and chatting.

-I think I made him nervous. ph34r.gif

-We went to check out Mountian View Cemetary which is a huge cemetary here which is also very old. Lots of really cool mausoleums. People went all out back then.

-Almost got locked in. Made it to the gate just as the guard was getting ready to close it. It would of been a fun date activity to scale a wall I suppose.

Hm...I finished up Uchuu no Stellvia recently, which wasn't bad (it's kind of addicting once you manage to get past episode 1, despite being on the semi-girly side at times..). happy.gif

Cemetary to be exact but actually they have everything there. Next door is Chapel of the chimes which is a columbarium.

If you like cemetarys you should come to Oakland and check it out. Great place for a picnic. Seriously.

Don't mind if I do. I love cemetary picnics. My family does it all the time, despite the "NO PICNICKING" signs scattered in Rose Hills Memorial. biggrin.gif

my current thoughts:

- remember the ambush technique i was talking about in the do you have game thread? i just got it pulled on me by this woman while eating breakfast in a diner with a friend....
- my friend went to go to the bathroom, i turn over to get some creamer for my coffee, and then BAM!!! i turn around and there's this woman hitting on me... and offering to take me to a kurosawa film festival.
- there's just no way to turn down a pretty woman that has not only mastered the ambush, but is offering me a chance to watch the seven samurai in a theatre.
- i hope she doesn't end up killing me and wearing my skin as a mask though... oh well, for kurosawa, i'll take that chance laugh.gif
- i think my friend is rather upset with me. as when he came back from the bathroom, i promptly greeted him with phrase "go the f*ck away... NOW!"
- still need to get enough pvc to build my monster of a potato gun.

Oh it's not expensive since it's on Ebay! tongue.gif And you don't know how much hard it is to find an EnvyXEd doujinshi especially with smut... Each time, it was...EdXRoy...EdXRoy...RoyXEd... Need I say more? ph34r.gif Believe me! It's a rare piece I got there! *tries to make you envious* I'm only half glad because the first part is RoyXEd (I knew I couldn't escape this!) but I think the EnvyXEd part is better, same for the art, since the artist drew it her own way.

- Soo....I drifted off to sleep at around 2 AM when I should have been studying Japanese vocabulary...woke up twice at 3:40 and 4:40 AM, respectively...dragged myself off for a rather desireable shower, and attempted to start on homework again...

- After breakfast, I was able to persuade my mom to let me miss the first 5 periods of school in attempt to complete my Physics lab and other homework assignments in that class I've been missing...

- However, after completing assigned reading/annotating for The Hobbit (at approximately 7:45 AM), I decided to take a bit of a nap first...

- I end up sleeping on and off for the next few hours, before finally getting up again around 1:50 PM-ish...

- Along the way I recall thinking "Ack, I just missed my 6th period government test~ >D"...

- I have a mild fever of about 100F-ish. Nothing to worry about (especially compared to my typical fevers), but it certainly explains why I've been wavering a little in the hallway today....sleep.gif

- A doctor's appointment for 4 PM has been arranged.

- So...to patch up that homework...and I now have 2 quizzes, a test, and a lab period to make up in the near future...mellow.gif

- I misjudged the depth of a puddle, thinking it was only wet ground, and stepped in without the protection of regular shoes and socks. *was wearing flip-flops* Actually, it felt kind of good.
- Ohhh..In-n-Out burgers are so good...though it seemed a little small from what I am used to at home. *is from the home of the In-n-Out burger*
- I think I have time to watch an episode of Firefly before I have to do anything else.

-Still all happy from my date last night. biggrin.gif That was my first date in three years. Well, aside from going out with the ex but he lost interest in dates after a time.

-I wonder what I'll have for lunch. I really need to go to the store after work to get stuff to start bringing lunch. Maybe I should get some pho or maybe the $2 Chinese food special.

-Why is Chinese food so cheap anyway? I wish Japanese food was as cheap.

-I also wish the cafeteria was having tonkatsu again. I could eat that every day.........I really should hunt down a recipie for it.

-The phones are slow. Yay! tongue.gif

I don't think we have them in CA. We had a White Castle a long time ago but it was turned into a donut place.

You won't find any In-n-Outs oustide of California, Nevada, and Arizona. It's run by the family who founded it and the company won't go public or franchising any time soon. But OMG it's good. XD

- Finished off the last of the cookies I baked. I couldn't help it. They were so chewy.
- Uh oh. I don't have enough quarters for laundry. Will need to ask for change somewhere. I wonder if I can fit everything in one load, though...that'll save me $2.50 and a quarter-cup of detergent.
- Hm. I can fit another episode of Firefly before laundry time. Or should I watch Battlestar Galactica instead? Decisions, decisions...

yeah she was sitting right there, and laughed. she then asked, "you don't play around, do you?" which in my mind is a good first impression of how i operate.

-I ordered an overpriced catfish sandwich from the local fish place. It wasn't even a proper sandwich, they gave me four pieces of catfish and two slices of break so I assume it's to make my own sandwich. Then, they only gave me one pack of tarter sauce.
