Mufufufufu....

So...I finished typing out annotations for that narrative poem and Grendel (about five pages worth), which has proven to be bizzarely time-consuming...

And...bizzarely enough, my mom actually mumbled something earlier about not having to finish everything tonight in favor of getting a decent amount of sleep....but if I show up at school without notes for the third assigned reading, that would make a lousy impression, so I'm still plowing my way through 'A Man for All Seasons'...there doesn't seem to be a lot to comment on...ohmy.gif;;

Well, I finally finished the history reading. Chinese writing and language, I think, is more interesting than ancient bronze-work.

My roommate's having trouble with her math and chemistry. I wish I could remember more of Calculus and chem to help...sad.gif

-The weather sucks again today. dry.gif I shouldn't have to bust out my winter clothes until at least november around here.

-I think I'm going to go on a manhunt this weekend.

-Also this weekend I get to see my grandfather for the first time in a year.

-We don't have much work to do today, I hope I get to go home early.

- Haven't gone out for textbooks yet.
- I think I slept too long . . . I haven't had this much sleep in a while.
- At least I woke up before 1030.

That rememinds me, I have to finish cleaning out the camping gear from the back of the truck.

Thoughts:

-Today looked promising, all these friendly overcasting clouds, but noooooooo, now it's all hot.
-Amazingly enough, my roommate is complaining about everything even more than I would. Classes, the bed, sleep, schedules, etc.
-Just had the first class, and it was awesome. The prof's age is somewhat ambiguious since he dresses in an English teenager style, bed-head type hair and the glasses and all. He also speaks in that really "yeah, cool dude" way that many of the nice people here seem to do. Absolutely hilarious guy. He even phoned up the publisher for our textbook while the 100-some of us were trying to keep quiet so he could leave and angry message about the rediculous price of $112 for a paperback and that it's a pretty large order.
-I hope the rest of the profs my brother recommended are this great.
-My sympathies go out to Bacon and Quis for the moment. Don't feel bad about your books either. I haven't bought one yet, and It's going to be tough going at the yard sale today... I hope everyone isn't thinking the same way I am and were too paranoid to leave book buying until today.

I had that problem about 2 days ago, it was awful. The pain was right in the middle of my chest. I'm fine now though.

Two out of the three GSI's (Graduate Student Instructors) in my ethnic studies class lecture by reading off their notes. I don't find that helpful. And today's GSI can't project her voice. That doesn't help either. I really need to find the course website, if there is one. dry.gif

Of course not. As far as I'm concerned anytime after noon is go time! Sometimes even before noon if your having a bloody mary or champange brunch.

Thoughts:

-Bored. So bored.

-Day still cloudy and ugly.

-Still want fried chicken even though I have salmon and baby carrots for lunch. Sometimes I just crave junk food.

That game has been available for the computer for a few years now. It was free on the computer though.

Current Thoughts:

- Still not feeling much better, and I am beginning to tired of this feeling.
- More books came in the mail. That should keep me in an artificial state of happiness for the next hour or two.
- I got most of the textbooks I needed today.
- Good thing I could not find 3 of them. I had enough trouble hauling the other 5 back home.

-I just realized I won't be on at all tomorow either....

-I have a large essay, along with some other projects, bundled together for homework this weekend. It's going to be a fun, fun, fun study party all weekend.... >.<

- (I still feel very much like a sophomore though...it's kind of odd. happy.gif;;)

- Japanese IV Honors is combined with the Japanese V class (on account of only 4 students being in that level XD), and it was nice having all the students that were in the other Japanese III period in the same class again. rolleyes.gif

- English class actually went pretty well. I was worried that my English teacher might decide to assign an insane amount of literary analysis homework like she did freshman year, but it's a lot less this time. happy.gif (I guess it's because we already annotated....)

- I have gym second-to-last in the day....mellow.gif I'm not very used to it, seeing as the last time I had PE in the afternoon was 6th grade, and I had it 2nd last year...ah well...

- And there's a Japanese exchange student present this school year~!! ohmy.gif *is very excited* I was going to have Ryuuko-san hunt him down and introduce me, but apparently he's on my bus route so yay~ laugh.gif He says he likes Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece.

- The weather is so lovely today. Nice and warm, but not humid. happy.gif

- I was called an old hag by a forumer yesterday on MSN. He dropped the case pretty quickly after I threatened to virtually tie him up and paint fruit-flavored lip gloss on his face, all in good cheer. happy.gif

I don't know about that. There are so many colleges around I would think that with all the students buying books they should break even no sweat. I would think that text books would get more sales than regular books.

It might be that they are so high because people have to buy them it's not like a book you would read for pleasure. Depending on the book I suppose.

Thoughts:

-Chicken was good. happy.gif Overpriced but good. No wonder I almost never eat fast food.
