what's Sinterklaas? Santa Claus? ><

Nov 27 2004, 05:21 PM
Sinterklaas = Santa Claus.
He has black Pete with him instead of elves. Used to scare the hell out of me.
On the night of December 4th we kids had to fill in our shoes with grasses (for Sinterklaas's reindeer or flying horse or something). He took the grasses and left gifts instead, but instead of under the christmas tree, he'd hide them along with our shoes.

December 4th?? I thought Sinterklaas is the Indonesian way of saying Santa Claus. and I do know that stupid "supertitious" thing about putting grass into our shoes.

i only know one song from chinese school. it goes like this in english: i have a little donkey, i never ride him, one day i something something rode him to something, i had a whip in one hand and i was very happy, something something palalalala, i fell in the mud. as you can see i don't really pay attention in chinese school either

That's all right. There are 10-year-olds in the kindergarten class I teach, and two 13-year-olds in my grade 1.

there's an eighth grader in my class, 12th grade, and he's killing us. but then again, we don't really care about the class and it's hard dragging ourselves there every week

and he's such a smart little guy! we love him

and luckily our teacher is cool and goes off on every tangent possible. like talking about protein shakes, the chinese term for masturbation, courting his wife, tans, disciplining children, medicine....
Quistis88
Nov 27 2004, 09:58 PM
You talk about masturbation in your class? Now THAT'S an innovative teacher. Kind of odd though. Is that even allowed?
