-My mom is complaining about how I don't drink milk any more and how it is bad since I don't get enough calcium. There are sources of calcium in tofu, spinach and other foods, not to mention that both tofu and spinach have protein as well... Well, anyways, dairy isn't good for you anyways. I will eat what she tells me to when she becomes a bloody nutritionist.

The hills aren't that bad, really. They're pretty soft slopes, and the steeper ones would have steps, anyway. The people I came across were generally fairly friendly, if a little overly spirited. As for the Foothill scrambled eggs...well, I'm living in Unit 3, so...HA HA!! XP Your friend must've been immune to the school spirit-ness. They completely ground it into us, to the point where WE initiated the GO BEARS cheer whenever we came across another group.
The neighborhood fireworks are still going on. I'm still feeling bloated from the barbecue/prime rib party. Jeebus, this year's fireworks were amazing! (And I don't mean the ones from the high school, though they were pretty good, too--I mean the ones that my cousin-in-law got from a friend who got them from a show that he does in Mexico...heheh...We were finally able to keep up with the rest of the street, who always have connections south of the border.) Too bad we were too eager at the beginning, and had only saved on big one for the finale. But then, Morning Glories are always good.

Then one seemed to find me fetching and started talking to me. At first I thought it funny but then he grabbed my hand and kissed it
....................And then he wouldn’t let go of it
Finally one of the teachers came and saved me from him and told me to be wary of drunken Japanese men.

- It's been a long and hectic day, yet again.
- I went with my family to get immunization shots for our upcoming trip.
- IT TOOK SO LONG. 4 hours. For 5 people. We had to get at least 3 needles each, but the process shouldn't have taken so long. We had to wait in line, even when we had an appointment, then we waited for the doctor's consultation, then the nurse who was giving us the shots.
- My bossy cousin is a complete coward. She wouldn't stop crying, and that was part of why everything took so long. The idiot went "Ow!" and pulled her arm away from the needle, causing her to bleed.
- Way to go. With the absolutely irksome way she's been acting, I have zero sympathy for her. She's had it coming.
