I suppose you could disregard that lie rant since I didn't expect to find a computer connection in the slums, and that I'll be absent from the NA continent for one month... And my free time hasn't been as "productive" as it normally would have been... I also feel for you now a little more, since I'm using dial-up... *has been demoted in many ways...*
@Quis-sama: I was 7-8-ish when I heard such words... I was stupid enough to go hang out with that punk... but anyway, normal kids learn from the kids who have connections. The connections being other friends, older friends/family, etc...

- I didn't think I'd find a connection in the Phillipines, so I'm here.
- Manila looks kind of like a smal city... or maybe a generic Asian city with smog forming. The surrounding area reminds me of Midgar Slums. [/lame reference] And I realize that was blunt. So that's part of who I am...
- I'm currently residing in these "slums" for my month stay. It's not that bad. I'm adjusting. I'm just being honest about the whole slum thing...
- *gets the feeling Bling is gonna kick his ass on seeing that*
- A plus: They have an all anime channel in English (or English subtitles). Some of it is really weird... MAJOR shoujo stuff... A negative: No AS. (which translates to: No Champloo, no Paranoia Agent)
- Some recent thoughts tell me I need a shot of testosterone... *runs down a dark alley with a wakizashi, out of sight*
- I had a wierd dream this morning. The last part involved eating pizza. As I awoke, I went throught the physical motions of finishing the crust.
- My stop in Japan was interesting. The bathrooms were very nice. The shops were so very different... I got intimidated and passed right by (I noticed at least one type of Pocky, though...)
- I've been having more timid periods... Hah, where is my AIM connection when I need it...
- I'm literally on the otherside of East coast time zone in America....
- In essence, I'll still be wandering around here, but it will be much more sporadic. I don't have my own connection that I can access on my own, so yeah...
But I'm still absent from the NA continent, if that counts for anything...

Methinks Slash has a wee bit of a mother complex.
I mean, he also loves Izumi, right? It's that not odd. Trisha's a great woman, and a very underrated character. I can see why Hohenheim loved her.
Thoughts:
- I was offered a position at a world class hospital research facility managing researcher's money. I'll have to get used to riding the train every day, but I think I'll buy a DS, which will make the commute much nicer.
- Finally, my contract work life is over. Not bad having free time and total flexibility, but not enough money in it as I'm not a good salesman. Actually I'm a great salesman, but I hate selling things, so I usually unconsciously sabotage my efforts at new contracts

- My daughter has a dance recital tomorrow. I hope she feels good about it. She hasn't been very excited about it, but certainly hasn't mentioned any worries. I think that for her it's just another thing to do and she doesn't see it as an event. I hope it stays that way for her as I don't want her to get overly nervous about performing.

I want to just buy the dvd's but there are only 3 out right now in the english versions and they only have 4 episodes on each dvd and at 20-30 dollars each im gonna be so broke.
I was going to buy the original versions of the dvd's because i found where there are only 4 at 30 dollars each with all the episodes and then i could just watch them with the english subtitles on. However, i decided to try it on the english version i have which also has the original on it <hope that made sense> with the subtitles and it just confused me even more. The translations killed me so i guess i must wait. This bites!

The graduation ceremony yesterday was actually pretty fun...despite the beach ball someone pulled out, and the moments of confusion when things didn't go as practice had dictated, and the three seconds of fear when they let out doves from off the stage and the birds starting circling overhead...oh, and when the wind blew my notecards off the podium as I was doing my speech--a classic mei moment, though. XP Luckily, I knew it well enough to continue the next few lines before a teacher picked up the cards for me. The diploma presentations went pretty quickly--I almost forgot to get in line. I was sitting in the front row with the other speakers, so I had to slip into my position when it came time to do so...but I was paying too much attention and completely missed it. Almost. I saw someone whose last name was after mine, and thought: "Wha...? Holy crap!"
My cousins are so much fun. We had a party afterwards, and they made me re-enact my speech, flying notecards and all, and they took turns giving me "advice" on college life. Crazy people.

I've been watching Speed Grapher for a bit now. The first episode was a little graphic, probably the most graphic one so far. Other than that, the plot is okay. Nothing too amazing, but not completely dull either. At least, I like it enough to keep watching.

-We just when outside and is not hot, is about to rain so the brezze(sp?) is nice, and sice we live by the kinda beach it will take us a minute to get to the water...
-I want to see the Bourne Supremecy again, i LOVE Matt Damon...
