Thoughts:

- people in general are stupid and have no capacity to use their brains.
- Trying to teach people anything is a futile effort.
- Mass extinction of the human race isn't seeming so bad to me right now dry.gif (as long as brains in a vat are kept alive laugh.gif)
- I'm a bad forum father and if I haven't been sent to social services yet, I should be. I'm so neglectful.

-Hisashi Iwakuma are lousy this season, last season he won 13 starts in a row since Opening Day, now he is 2-2, so I guess no one in Japanese Baseball League would reach 20 wins since 2002 when the PL pitcher win 21 games

- ooo...arche's back, sweet chocolatey jesus its nice to have someone capable of rational thought back in the ranks....
- i feel a bit off...
- i think i actually ate enough mexican food today to get high off it...
- the penny arcade tycho vs gabe incident that is occuring is rather entertaining...

Yes, I was hit by a busy season - well that and my plotting to destroy humankind as we know it has kept me busy lately.

Saw Shaolin Soccer last night because of the movie Kung Fu Hustle, which I hope to see soon. I swear the answer to my life right now is Kung Fu as it would allow me to never fall when I slip on a banana peel again.

laugh.gif I'm glad you have finally watched Shaolin Soccer. smile.gif It's one of the funniest movie I have seen, I've heard Kung Fu hustle is pretty funny aswell.

I loved Shaolin Soccer it inspired me to start taking Shaolin Kung Fu. I haven't slipped on a banana peel since. laugh.gif

Hmm, I never knew one could get high off of Mexican food. laugh.gif I'm also glad arche is back. At least it helps balance things out a tiny tiny bit more. Kind of.

Current Thoughts:

- Met my friend for coffee this morning in my hometown and ended up chatting for 3 hours. biggrin.gif
- It's nice to have someone to have intellectual conversations with.
- Around lunch time, around a dozen high school kids came into the coffee shop and they all waved at me ("OMG, it's Connie!"). Apparently, they all know me, but I've forgotten who a quarter of these people are.
- Hmm . . . I should dust some parts of my desk.
- Meeting another friend later this afternoon. See, kids? I DO have a social life.
- I'm going to stay home tonight and watch a movie or something.

Holy shit. I think Miyuki might be some kind of crazy magic dog.

I'm still on campus, but I just got a call from my mom, saying that the pooch managed to escape from our back porch AND jump the gate from the yard [which is 6 feet high] again, and was running around our normal walking route before she got home. She ran home while we were on the phone. I've seen her jump the fence before, but the porch was locked, so I have no idea how she could escape from there.

I seriously don't know whether to be worried or amazed. blink.gif

Current Thoughts:

-I spent my day off taking my kid to the Zoo. What the hell happened to good Zoos? I remember when animals used to actually be in their cages and do stuff. About half the animals were off display, hiding in corners so you couldn't see them, or dead( well they looked dead to me). It was a total waste of time and the only fun my kid had was riding the dumb slow ass train the Louisville zoo has. Like I said, a total waste of a beautiful day.

Current Thoughts:

- I cannot believe I still cry after watching "La Vita è bella".
- I don't even cry at the sad parts. It's one of those movies that just really hit you right at the end . . .
- Forums are really desolate tonight. It's quite nice.

- I should probably go to bed or something.
- After more than 8 months of sleep deprivation and irregular sleeping hours, I should try to regulate my sleeping habits.
- I don't think I've ever had regulated sleeping habits. Except when I was an infant.
- I got an A- on the last research paper I did this year. biggrin.gif
- Went to check how much I can get by selling my next batch of unwanted texts, which is only $5.17, and I spent around $32.00 for them. There are two more that I cannot sell yet because of low demand. I guess I can keep The Bhagavad Gita, but I refuse to have John Stuart Mill in my house. His language confuses me.

You can't expect a place like Louisville to have a good zoo. To see a good zoo, you need to travel to a place like San Diego or London. I visited the London zoo back in 2000, and it was awesome.

- we picked new editors-in-chief for the newspaper today, i finished my key club officer terms, finalized where i'm going to college with my counselor, and soon it'll be AP testing and soon it'll be prom and graduation. where does time fly?

- no chinese school tonight, so i'm off to church instead. i'll come back around 11:30 for my sig rampage.

- what the hell, why is it so windy right now? it was oddly cloudy and warm during lunch, but now it's all dark and windy and there's dust and leaves blowing and swirling around everywhere. feels sort of like a tornado's going to hit and land my house in munchkin land.

Current Thoughts:

- Well, I have a rough draft of that Chinese composition now.
- I should Swiffer the house and water the plants.
- Life of Pi is not exceeding expectations yet, but I think it's getting there.
- I am glad that I have read The Mahabharata and The Bhagavad Gita before reading Life of Pi, otherwise, I probably would not be all too familiar with some of the names of the divinity mentioned.

I am about 1/5 of the way through the book at the moment, so yes, I will keep at it. Once I start a book, I am determined to finish it no matter how much I may (dis)like it. The zoology stuff at the beginning is rather boring, but at least I learned a few things.

The occasional insertion of factual stuff, however, is reminiscent of The Da Vinci Code, only with less action. Plot seems to be moving a bit slow, but I am sure it will pick up, especially since mei-mei likes it so much. biggrin.gif

Thoughts:

- I have realized that it is self-evident that I am awesome
- Late night tonight due to a fit of insomnia.
- My wife will be away at a conference tomorrow and I've got the kid all day.
- Have to drive my daughter to ballet tomorrow. She seems to enjoy it and remembers the moves. I'm surprised that she has the attention span ohmy.gif

You are awesome, arche. smile.gif Technically, you don't have your daughter ALL day because she has her ballet classes. That is, if you don't watch her during said classes. Children's attention spans can really vary, I find. I have a 10-year-old cousin who has a short attention span, but she's in tap dancing, and recently won an award at a recital.

Ignore the fact that she quit piano after two years of absolutely no progress. biggrin.gif If your daughter is remembering her moves, then she must enjoy doing ballet to some degree, which is good.

I think my hearing is worse in my left ear. I have to turn up the volume on my headphones for that ear separately to make the music sound even.

- ahh, i kept falling asleep at church today. but then i woke myself up with a nice game of SSB Melee with my friend and her little brother. i'm still in shock that i won the last round....i was marth (but i'm really not great, since i don't own a gamesystem and rarely play) and i had her brother play as peach (since both he and his sister are really good and need handicaps), except he kept bombarding me with radishes. wacko.gif

- sleepy and headachey. will do sig rampage tomorrow.
