Oh, and I saw it btw. Downloaded via torrent. I liked it, although my friend thought it was the biggest piece of crap ever. Really his expectations were too high; he expected it to be exactly like the game and was pissed off at every little change. Yeah well Mister, there's a ton of crap in Symphonia you just can't get into 4 episodes so get over it. Anime is different than games. >>

I quite liked the OVA, although, yeah, they did cut out a LOT of stuff XD I'm also wondering why Kratos is the only one who shows up during the little song intro thing? I mean, I'm not complaining, but it's rather odd...

I watched the whole first episode on Youtube, complete with some interesting fansubbing, but it probably is all gone by now XD You could always try Veoh, or bittorents if you can get those to work.

But it issshhhh fun watching all the characters I've spent hundreds of hours with (I do not lie.) wander around and actually talk! The animation looks quite pretty and even one of my friends who doesn't know a thing about Tales of Symphonia enjoyed the first battle where Kratos beats up all those bad guys XD

For the ones who've played ToA, I strongly recommend you go to DD's Deviantart. She draws the most hilarious stuff ever, VanxMohs is her favorite to draw though >_>' I warn you though, she goes to 4chan, you'll see memes there.

The thing that surprised me up about Kratos' seiyuu is that Kratos = Gendo Ikari from NGE. I was like "Whoa!"

My only complaint is about this series is that not too many people seemed to have played it much before Tales of Symphonia =/ ToS was okay, but to me it just seemed like a lot of the storyline was a shortened version of Tales of Eternia/Tales of Destiny 2's, and the characters weren't as awesome. People tard out over awesome, but they never saw Reid *sigh*

The first Tales of Destiny was pretty awesome too. The story was really enjoyable and it had unique comcepts built into it that a lot of the other titles didn't have.

Right now I've been playing Tales of the World for psp. I'm not very far into it, but so far it's been fun. I'm still waiting for when I can throw together anyone I want for my party ^^

^well, in defense of the people you didn't play the rest of the series before Symphonia, not all of them were brought over here before Symphonia. In fact, I think only a handful were. X_X Or maybe I'm wrong...

Destiny was, and I wanna say Phantasia was as well. Heck, that's all that really came out before Symphonia, aside from Eternia.

Still, it's quite annoying when people scream about Symphonia. Don't get me wrong, I love the game, but there's more to the series than just that. Half of them don't even bother with Legendia or Abyss.

I've played Symphonia and Phantasia, plus I watched a lot of Abyss cutscenes on youtube and read the transcript. xD Either way.. I'm hoping the ToS sequel on the Wii makes it here. And I think there was a DS game planned too.

I liked Symphonia for the long time it took to complete and all those little things you could do.. plus graphics were nice. =D Same goes for ToP. I still haven't beat Moria.. heheh monsters just wait until one day I'm bored.

Cause they're usually Gamecube-ulars and won't bother with a game on the console that kicks their favorite's ass. It's a bitter hatred thing.

It was. It and SSBM rank as some of my favorites, as do a handful of others...but that's a discussion for another topic.

My friend has a name for those people -- Symphoniacs. They hail Symphonia as the best game in the series without even bothering to even ATTEMPT to play the other games in the series [Legendia and Abyss are both on the PS2, readily available in the US still]. It's quite annoying.

It reminds me of the people who watch that weaboo crap Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and claim to know EVERYTHING about VII, without even bothering to touch the game itself. [And no, kiddies, Kingdom Hearts does not count].
