The hero pilots of Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War are really cool

1. Blaze (The wingleader, and where I got my username from)
2. Kei Nagase (Callsign: 'Edge'. Blaze's #2, and his girlfriend)
3. Alvin H. Davenport (Callsign: 'Chopper'. #3 in the squadron, and Blaze's best friend in the group. He's the comedian of the bunch, but he's also a very good pilot. He gets shot down and killed in Mission 17, and soon, the squadron must run and take a stand against combined agressor forces from Belka, and their loyalist allies in Osea and Yuktobania.)
4. Hans Grimm (Callsign: 'Archer'. The youngest pilot, but very skilled. He becomes #3 in the group when Chopper dies, and looks up very highly at both Blaze and Edge)
5. Marcus Snow (Callsign: 'Swordsman' An F-14 pilot for the Osean Navy, later becomes #4 in the Razgriz Squadron. He joins them after they escape to the carrier Kestrel, and the four of them fight on to the end of the war.)

Afterwards, Blaze and Edge marry, (At least it looks that way, from the ending scene, and the others go their separate ways.)
