Roze annoyed me the most of the main female characters in the anime. Oh yeah, she cries over the death of her boyfriend big whoop, we get it, shes sad. But then she drops a suck-up bomb on the church, sucking up to the priest so the fat lard can bring back the dead bf she loves oh so much. Then there's a point where the monkey faced bozo goes to talk with her in-the-process-of-being-brought-back boyfriend who then she believes "he" really is is supposedly "talking" to her. Oh come on, a 2-year-old could've known that was a mother flippin parrot talking.

So yeah, if I keep ranting then its gonna be long, so I'm done for now I'll stop here :3

Also, I'd avoid calling one of the few black characters "monkey faced"



Ed and Al grieve over their dead mom far more than Rose does about her dead bf. Roy and Winry also do a fair amount of crying over dead people. It's what people tend to do when someone dies. Still, who wants characters to have human, emotions that people can relate to?


Yeah, what idiot goes to the Church that has clearly and repeatedly shown it's capable of preforming miracles. Ed knows it's all fake so why don't these people who have never heard of alchemy know? If I know something, like the miracles are fake, then surely everyone else must know as well, right?

When a life rising from dead boyfriend squawks in the middle of his sentences, you'd automatically assume he's sick then, and say "oh you poor human, I hope you get better". Okay, sure I'm fine with that. We are evolved monkeys, what diff is it with Rose? Oh no nevermind, it's anime and in anime, evolution doesn't exist even when it's so closely based off real world themes/topics. I didn't know sarcasm was a serious matter when it came to expressing the sadness of dead anime boyfriends either, my bad. Mmhm, and I didn't even realize I made such a big mistake with saying anything about the miracles at all or even mentioning when I said the sucking up took place.

Rose was highly annoying! All the other females are great, including Winry.

Reason? Rose is a VERY weak character, and needed hand holding all the way. That gets on my nerves. The other females are all awesome, all confident and nice, Winry was also great!

Go back to biology class and look over evolution again. Also, don't bring out the "LOL I JUST MEANT EVOLUTION BECAUSE THAT MAKES SENSE." You'd have to be pretty damn retarded not to know that racists often compare black people to monkeys.

When I first watched the series Rose annoyed me, but I think I've gained a tolerance for her over the years. Manga-Rose sort of redeems herself anyway, so I'll let her slide

I know that Winry can be annoying and Rose in the anime, I still find no purpose for her emergence near the end, however, I chose Dante/Lyra.

She appears near the end, and she is simply an idiot - she should have thought up a better plan and then how she finally comes to an end...not too intelligent for someone that's been around for 400 plus years.

You know, going around this tread I noticed of lot of hatred towards Rose and Noa. I know Rose wasn't the strongest female character of the anime, but she did go through a lot of bad things. It's kinda normal that she's traumatised and dependant at the end of the anime (though the whole dancing with Ed and acting like a zombie was a bit creepy! ).

As for Noa, it's true she didn't have much character development. Then again, so did most of the movie characters like Heiderich and Eckhart, no? The movie was short, and the authors couldn't flesh late additions like Noa and Heiderich like they did with the rest of the cast.

As for me, I'm with Lando Calrissian. I felt Dante was really a dull villainess. Most of her henchmen had better backstories than her, and were thus more interesting and likeable characters. Dietlinde Eckhart was worse than her though; where the hell did she come from?!

Concerning Eckhart, I have no idea - she came from the Fatherland, she died in the Fatherland. That about wraps it up!

The only female that bothered me overall was Rose, although only in the beginning, when she was in her mourning and absolutely refused to listen to anyone or anything around her, except of course, for the person that was showing her things just too good to be true. It irritated me how Edward came off as the real .... when Rose was stubborn enough to ignore what he was saying, much less even contemplate what he was trying to show her. Ed was being forward and did so partly because it is personality, and also in part that he did want Rose to think for herself.

I'm glad she changed; I don't mind her when she begins to realize the truth, but it seemed as if the stages of denial she was exhibiting were pathetic even for someone in her situation.

I hate DANTE for some complicated reasons: 1_she RUINED the whole first anime for me! That b****!!
2_how the HELL can that hag live for 400 years just to die of her own stupidity?!
3_she tried to take Rose's body just so Ed would fall in love with her (female pedophile!)

I've never read the manga, but I have to say that, to me, Winrey is the most annoying. She's still annoying in "Brotherhood", which is supposed to be more true to the manga. I just don't like it when she flips out and beats Ed and Al with her wrench.

I voted Rose because she does the opposite of what people say...

I mean, not only that, she's ultimately a Mary sue and I partially blame her for how the series ends.

I voted Roze.... I haven´t read the whole manga yet, just the first four volumes, but winry it´s okey for me... but I didn´t like Roze from the start.... she was just... well, annoying

Anime!Rose annoys the bejeezus out of me. She's just this weak and whiny person. While I understand she was...*ahem* yeah...but she endangers her baby by going with Dante. Also, Ed loving her? No offense, but where did that come from?

Also, Noa...she pretty much served no purpose in CoS...

I'm sorry, she annoys me. She strikes me as immature, far too naive, and she's a bit too young for either Elric brother, if you ask me. I've really tried liking her, or at least tolerating her, but I just...can't. She just annoys me to no end.

Well actually her age hasn't been specified so we don't know if she's too old for the Elrics. She's at least 12 though and by now Al is 15 I think and if she is younger than 12 or if she is 12 than she has the right to be immature because it's her age. I'm sorry I have to disagree with you on the immature thing because she went out on a quest to save her entire Chan Clan (lol I rhyme) at a young age that's a lot of responsibility and maturity if you ask me.
