I can't remember how the original Lyla was... I thought eventually she turned good at the end of the episode, but obviously I was wrong. In any case, was Lyla an actual person in the first place or has it always been Dante? Then when Dante was shown dead, was it Lyla transferred to the old woman's body? Just confused... blink.gif

I think the transfer only goes one way so the real lyra soul is destoryed or whatever and after she transfered herself she made her old body look like it had been killed.
Envious...
Lyla was a fairly evil character in the anime when you first see her.

And no, she didn't reform at the end, Edward just beat the crap out of her (well done, now show Winry who's boss!! wink.gif )

After her defeat, she seems to not have been punished very severely since she's out and about serving as Dante's apprentice/maid. Hmm, maybe Dante was looking for a next human host and found Lyla through the Fuhrer and had her released?? Not a long shot.

As for the fate of Lyla's true soul now that Dante is the body's new owner is unclear at this time. Is her soul merely suppressed? Is it destroyed? Or did they actually switch bodies? This may give another explanation as to why Dante destroyed her old husk, since having a witness around (even if she's in the body of a grandma) would be troublesome.

Layla was gawth as hell when she first appeared in the series...

I must admit, I liked her very much in that miniskirt. biggrin.gif

sumthin is jus itching to tell me that the main point of the remaining eps isnt to find out who lyla is, wut the locket did, wut they can use against the homunculi, and other stuff like that.
i jus wana kno one thing: HOW ARE THEY GOING TO DEAL WITH DANTE?!?! she knows EVERYTHING, being the age that she is, so how is ed gonna deal with her AND get their bodies back to normal? has everyone forgotten their goal already? they recall it a lot throughout the series too. sad.gif

Shes not a homunclus so i think she can just be killed since she hasn't eaten any red stones.
WaveMaster
she's a human so kill her the normal way but you know it might be a big alchemist battle

question:
how come Lust just died after she vomit all the philosopher's stone but Sloth didn't?
RurouniLeeO
Well after you vomit the stones you don't necessarily die. The Homunclus juss become weak and are capable of dying. Remember that Al threw the remaining bits of his mother out the window so it didn't entirely complete the seal for Sloth yet. Lust on the other hand was stuck in the circle and was turned into a mortal and was killed by Wrath. Sloth Also died later because Ed transformed her body into some other liquid substance that evaporates.
