Aaahahah! Dude, Vile One, get a life. If you have enough time to pick on everyone's assessments of the anime vs. the manga vs. BONES's plotholes...you need a new hobby.
Quit trying to sound smart, you just sound like an ass.

So true. There's no need to get all snappy just because someone doesnt have the exact same opinion as you.
Its not because they have different opinions its because they are spreading false BS and crap that isn't true. And I'm debunking it.
And at least I have a handle on the forums guest
TheEvilOne, why do I have the feeling that you haven't read the manga yet?
Oh I have read it, I just bought volume 2 in stores and finished reading it. I've also read the later scan-lated chapters.
XDDDDDDD By Real thing I was saying that the manga is the original, and what it says is what it's true for that story, not the anime.
So? The Spider-man comics are the original, but the movies still rock. They made a lot of changes in the movie they stayed true to the characters and themes of the story. And some of the comic freaks which are the manga freaks like you for FMA STILL bitch, moan, and complain about the differences in the changes.
Are you telling me that making something... alive.. enough as to make them FLY, even if it is for a few seconds, and even CHIRP!, is not REVIVING??? My theory is that they exploded because there's no way noone could revive anything well enough to make them live long, even if it is Envy, Hohenheim or Ed, without the philosopher's stone. And not the fact that they weren't revived in the first place, because they flied and chirped. That's alive enough for me as to say they were revived.
You are getting into semantics, this is really not a big deal for me. It was a great visual moment, and it was done to show that it was still the homunculus manipulating people and events. Envy made them fly for a second and they blew up. That's all there is to it.
If they didn't tell us what he uses, it makes it to be a hole. When people start thinking there's something strange and "what did he do there?" and don't have an answear, that's a hole in the plot.
Just because the artists don't tell you everything doesn't mean there's a plot hole.
And by the way, when you finish reading the manga and extras... you'll see that Envy's only power is changing his own form, not reviving anything, or animating it, nor anything he could do with the birds. Correct me if I'm wrong.
So if in the off-chance that in the manga he does something else...will you throw a hissy-fit? Originally in the comics, Peter Parker doesn't shoot webbing out of his wrists like he does in the movies, does that piss you off as well?
He just says "I hate you because you have the same blood as him", you can imagine anything by that.
And yet myself and others were able to accurately surmise that the person Envy was talking about was Ed's father, who obviously had some sort of dark past with Envy. Foreshadowing, allusions, whatever.
You don't know what I'm talking about? See episode 28 and episode 3 where Al is in the water and noone says anything and doesn't make a fuss of it. And then see episode 44 and tell me there's nothing strange with that XD
Episode 3 he just falls in a shallow area. Episode 28, he wasn't completely submerged.
[quoteYou can't prove it either, so don't afirm "you are WRONG" with all your willpower, it makes me think of you as "it's like that because I say so".
Yes I can. Because being the philsopher's stone gives Al power he didn't have before, and that he could finally FEEL Ed when he was powered up was a big revelation, and Al was finally able to feel him again.
No, stupid and insignificant would be "Al restransmutates a pealed apple to it's original form with peal and even the branch", or "Hakuro's shot in the ear and it makes him a hole. He reappears in episodes later and doesn't have it".
Plot holes and facts that aren't confirmed or can't be confirmed that affect the plot aren't stupid nor significant.
Well that's the kind of things I keep seeing you guys complaining about

.
And personally, I didn't see it as "it sounds like your mistakes on spelling" but as "why are you criticizing something I like when you even don't know how to spell "shameful" and "pitiful"?" I took it as a direct attack more than as something that had to do with the discussion in question: "BONES mistakes in the anime while adapting the FMA Manga".
See it as whatever you want. You can take it or leave it.
Wait 'till I finish checking all the episodes, I've been busy and I'm currently at episode 22. I don't want to add more mistakes in this thread untill then (it would make it repetetive), I just stated a couple of them that came first to my mind. Anyways, I won't state them as mistakes, but as unansweared questions that I didn't find an explanation and that for me that makes them mistakes.
Just because they are unanswered questions doesn't make them mistakes. It just means you aren't smart enough to figure it out for yourself

.
But I would like to know what do you think that "Real Mistakes while adapting an story" are for you (no meaning of offense here).
In the Constantine movie, making the character American, totally stiff and not charismatic or surly at all. He hates Heaven and God, but he constantly grovels and tries to buy his way into Heaven, something Constantine would never do. He hates Heaven, but he constantly uses Holy Water, crucifixes, and Bible verses as weapons to excorcise demons. Things in Christianity which are a symbol of faith in God and protection from evil.
He also uses a Holy Shotgun, something Constantine would never and has never used.
Yeah, it was a great moment, but I think they should have explain it, I was like "huh??? since when does he feel again???! O.o".
I'm not an idiot, I was able to see it, enjoy it, and figure it out. I think good stories are the ones that DON'T try to explain every little detail. I was able to see the answers, and I figured it out that way, I don't need to have every minute detail spelled out for me like you.
XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD yeah, why the hell does he transform into a dragon??? XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD I couldn't help but laugh there, I was like "huh? He isn't just powerfull enought to get rid of those... things, by just changing his form, but he changes to a GREEN DRAGON!!! What the hell???" XDDDDDDDDDDD And imadiatly Shenron came to my mind I started laughing hard! XDDDDDDDDD But well, what I don't find normal about that is that BONES says "FMA is a very real anime, so Ed can lose his will to go back to his world" but they put a green big alive dragon in OUR London.
To me it looks like he changes into the serpent image on the Ourobouros tattoo.
And to me, despite the fantasy elements, I find FMA to be a very real anime, that is the interaction between the characters and the emotions they feel.
I don't see that as if it was the same, in spiderman they explain why and how happens that, in FMA noone explains what Envy does nor how. And I don't find it comparable with what happens to Ed and Al, because that's explaint too.
That's why I say it's a plot hole, and a plot hole for me is a big mistake.
No they don't. How does a spider-bite give a teenager super powers? They never go into great detail about it, it just does. And now he can shoot webbing out of his wrists, something he could never do in the comics before. In the comics he had mechnical gauntlets with web cartidges in them for that, but the movies totally did away with that. To this day, fanboys STILL complain about it.
Ok, so you are right about that it doesn't mean he doesn't have any other power. But that we know untill now, and I think it's confirmed, all the homunculus have only ONE ability:
Gluttony: Eat anything
Lust: Slice things with her fingers (nails? :s)
Pride/Wrath: See even the flowing of the air with his eye.
Sloth: We still don't know (manga) / (anime), transform into water.
Anime Wrath: mix himself with other things and use alchemy because he has ed's arm and leg.
Manga Pride: We still don't know.
Envy: Change his original form into anything (we've only see him transforming into animated things though).
It was never confirmed because it was never said! This is only based on what we saw.
In one episode, Envy transforms his arm into a spike to impale Ed.
PS: I think you are taking this arguing about BONES mistakes as a personal attack (correct me if I'm wrong) to just you. It's not like it, I'm arguing my reasons when I say there's a problem with BONES' adaptation of the manga to the anime. I'm going to publish all the "why...?"s to discuss them openly and give reasons, not to attack anyone.
When people call it "shameful, pathetic, and pitiful" and they talk about how it butchered the manga. I see it as an attack. And I am going to defend the anime from what I believe is erroneous bullshit. So whatever.
Mod edit: First off, please don't double-post. You've been here long enough to know that it's against the rules. Next: You've been unnecessarily rude throughout this thread and many others concerning the movie. People aren't pleased with the movie or the series; okay. Get over it, please. "Its not because they have different opinions its because they are spreading false BS and crap that isn't true. And I'm debunking it." What false BS and crap? You've been attacking their opinions on the series, whether it be their unsatisfaction with the movie or their unsafisfaction with irregularities and holes in the storyline. They say that Al's being able to "feel" Ed's warmth was a plothole; You say it's not. You have every right to say it, but not to force what you consider the "facts" down their throats. More than a few members have already stated their displeasure with the way you have been responding to people's posts. I'm aware that it takes more than one person to have an argument, though, so this is everyone's first and final warning to stop until you all discover the meaning of civility.
