I know this subject has been addressed before, but if you view my Member Profile, there is a comment left there by Little Washu (Mar. 6th, 2007, I think). If you scroll down the page, you can see that the same comment is somewhere down the page, (actually, two of them. And they all say Mar. 6th, 2007.) and that's kind of weird. Does anyone know the cause of this?

Click "Comment" on the tabs in the middle section...

ahhh...my guess would be that little washu's internet hiccuped a few times and the request was sent again and again >_>....either that or there's a bug in the comments section :x

Yeah like said that happens to me also.
Every time I make a comment in some one else's profile it changes all my previous comments in that person profile to be exactly like my new one.
The same thing happens when someone else posts comments in mine.

The same thing is happening to my Personal Profile also. Tho this is fairly recent development for mine. It didn't happen before.

I think it's because people are misusing the comment feature. It's not supposed to be a system for having conversations...

Um... I have a slight problem. Go to the topic "Nightmare Castle" in the Roleplay Discussion and view my last post. I tried typing "Kakash i" (except without the space in between the h and the i) and the name "urchin" appeared... and I tried to edit it, but it won't go away. Does anyone know what might be the cause of the problem? I don't know if any of you can see it, too, but it's really bugging me. And, if I type it right now, it will still come up as "urchin".

Is there any way we can increase the number of comments and friends we see on our profiles.


I have many comments that I cant see in my profile unless i opt to see the comment list, so is there a way to put the comments in a manner that all are visible ?

@Amol - I think you can change the settings to make 10 Comments and 10 Friends to show up on the right side of your personal Profile page (the choices are 3, 5, or 10.)

See if this one works...
Go to the Center part of your Profile page, and click on Settings (which is right under the Topics button.) Scroll down to the bottom where it says Settings with numbers showing up.

Go to Show x Sidebar Comments and change drop down menu from 5 which is the current setting for yours, to 10, then, go to the next one that says Show x Sidebar Friends, and change drop down menu from 5 which is the current setting for yours, to 10, then click on Save Settings. Get out of personal Profile page, and then visit your personal Profile again.

It should be changed to 10 Comments and 10 Friends showing on the right side of the page.
Let me know if this works.

@Amol - As far as I know, there is no way to make ALL of the comments to show up on the Right side of the Profile page.
But, if anyone click on Comments in the Center part of the your Profile page, I believe, technically speaking, (please see the Note below) everyone can read all your comments.
And, the same goes for Friends as well.
(Although, there also, each page is showing 10 Friends/Comments per page, so if anyone has more than 10 Friends/Comments then need to click on page 2, page 3.. to see them all. )

Note: Currently, we are experiencing some program bugs with Comments in the Center part of Profile page. If you see same comments being repeated there, that's because of this program bug. Sorry for the inconveniences!! ^^

Yeah, I lost some comments on my Profile page that way, too.

I'm having the same problem as Steel Heart Alchemist previously had; I can't see my new avatar, only a pixelated version of my old one. Is it the site's fault or just my internet's?

Mix of both. Right click on it and select view image, this will take you to where the ava is located. Refresh the page once or twice and come back to the forum. It's should be fixed then.
Next time host it on imageshack/photobucket and link to it from there. (The "Enter a URL to an online avatar image" bit above "upload from computer")

Is there a way to completely ignore users? I mean, for more than PMs? A friend of mine is having this problem and he asked me to ask, because I'm nice like that .

I assume you already know about "ignore" feature for PMs.
Besides that, you can do...

*Hide certain person's post contents:
Go to your control panel by clicking on My Controls on Upper Right part of the forum page, then on the Left side Menu, under Options, find Manage Ignored Users. Click on it, and fill in the person's id, click on Update Ignored Users.
This will mask that person's post contents from you, so you don't have to read them.
With this, where there is a post for that person, for the post content itself, you'll see
You have chosen to ignore all posts from: xxxx (that person's Id)

· View this post
· Un-ignore xxxx
And you'll have a choice of reading the content, or ignoring it.

(Though, in reality, you can still see that person's avatar, board id and such, hence you can not completely shut out that person. But at least you don't see that person's post contents. )


*Set the "approval" feature for Comments to appear on your personal Profile:
For Comments for your personal Profile, since there is no "ignore" feature for this, go to your personal Profile page, then in the Center of the page, right underneath Topics, find Settings and click on it, then go down to Moderation Options, and for New Comments, choose Enabled so that new comments added need your approval to show up on your personal Profile.

Or, if you are having problems with that person because of the person's board behaviors that are against the board rules and/or guidelines, then please let us know, and see if we can help.
Otherwise, if you just do not like the person, then maybe you can learn to mentally "tune out" that person?? It sounds silly, but it might work??

It depends, what kind of picture you want to put in your album?
I don't think you can get banned by that, unless the pic belong to someone else and that persons does not wants it to put it anywhere else.

@Fullmetal_heart - I assume you are talking about your personal Album in our FMA Image Gallery, that's a part of personal Profile feature, correct??
No, you are not going to get banned for that.
But, you could get banned if you post someone else's picture/image/artworks, etc. claiming that is your own creation. (Hence, to be safe, make sure to include the credit info of the images you have in your Album. )

I think, only the Admin can do that. Do you plan to delete your account and make another one so that user will not know is you? Why don't you report the user is been doing that?.

It's not FMA fanfiction. I don't write that. Heck, I don't even write Naruto fanfiction anymore. I'm focused on Ghost in the Shell and Negima!. My computer is really slow so it takes about 20 minuets just to upload a new chapter. Therefore I need lot's of time to write and update my stories so I'm not up till 3:00 AM, I'm required to have 8 hours of sleep, so says my doctor.
