Joined the channel, great ID in my opinion, it will decrease the ammount of spam on the forums too I think.

Common people, I'm 24/7 in the channel because one of my computers is continuously turned on, but I haven't spoken to anyone than Rolfkaese for a couple of minutes and a chat about the forum with BriantQ, further I only saw haroken there once, so everyone JOIN, and yes there are not many people online but, if everyone thinks so there never will be !

Most of the time I am from 15:00 - 22:00 ( GMT +1 ) at my comuter ( since my school has started again ) so Join and talk !

You're running linux right?

For most users Xchat is a fine solusion, It is graphical program and it's very easy

If you like text-based programs you should try irssi ( which I use ) that realy rocks

to join type:

/server irc.rizon.net

and then to join the channel:

/j #hagaren

For the windows users:

for only IRC mIRC is the best program to use, but If you also want msn, icq, yahoo etc. in 1 program, you'd best use GAIM. In gaim you can add an IRC server like this: ( for mIRC use the same commands as herebove )

open your buddylist
press Ctrl + A
add account
protecol: IRC
server: irc.rizon.net
Nickname: your nickname

the rest you don't have to enter, just press ok, and check the checkbox in front of your new IRC account

btw. haroken, as you allready noticed, I wasn't there, I realy should change my nick when I'm gone since the time laps of the different users here

What linux distro you are running? red hat, mandrake, suse, gentoo ?

The easiest thing to do is to download the precompiled binaries, which you can find here you should be able to install them just like you do with every other software.

To get the sourcecode working that you have now, you have to compile Xchat yourself, I refer to this page. If you want the newest of the newest, you should compile it yourself, but If you are lazy and you want to be able to use your program inmediately ( like me ) you can just grab the binaries

Oh, I asked Dad and he said... -___- Darn, what did he say? ....I dunno, he said it this afternoon, but I forgot. It's definitely not Mandrake, Red Hat or any of the ones you mentioned.

ok i know this is a bit odd, but recently i've been dazeing in and out of the MIRC room, to see the same few people idling away and well, i kinda wanted to chat with everyone ^^; anywho... I wanted to set up a time where we could all chat and conversate ^^; Currently it's 10:00pm in the Eastern Time Zone of the US/Canada. So post times you guys want to chat, and i'll see if i can make it ^^ or we can all agree on a time, that would be awesome too! The only day i can't be on is Sunday night after 7pm (my time) Thats when I have to meet deadlines for Monday ^^;

Actualy, it has all the ones that i searched for, as well as it has tutorials on how to use them! ive just recently started messin with linux (hosting my site on my windows box just aint going well) but from the distro's ive looked at, just logout of your account and it should say the name of your disro on-screen. once you know what distro you have post here and im sure someone will be able to point you towards the right binary.

i dont like irc it just never went well for me

and, with the right script and software, easily find oppenents and play Super Nintendo Games over the net
