The new album ( once ) is very neat, Nemo is the best number if you ask me, althouh are Dark chest of wonders, I wish I had an angel, Planet hell and Dead Gardens also very cool, to be honest, the hole CD rocks !

Yeah Rammstein are great, but have you translated some of their lyrics, like for zwitter (or whatever it is) they're crazy. My favorite of mutter is 'mein hertz brent', that is damn good lol.

Speaking about German songs; I downloaded a pretty neat music video from amv.org some time ago. It had very good music from E Nomine (Vater Unser, Der Exorzist, Dracul's Bluthochzeit) and Godsmack (Vampires). I really liked that amv and thought to share for anyone who's interested. (It's also 'direct' downloadable, so you don't need to register to the site... It is Xvid, though!!)

About Nightwish... I don't really like the group all that much, though I do have one song I like: Two For Tragedy. ;; Mainly because it went with a 'Hughes Dies' amv of FMA.

My friend has done a AMV with Hughes death but the song was Queen - The Show Must Go On...

I got it from amv.org, actually. Though it wasn't totally 'Hughes-Death'-centric, it did appear at the most important point (hoogtepunt, hoogtepunt - Gods, I need a dictionary - high point maybe??) of the vid. I almost started crying when I first saw it.

Reading this thread, i realized that i don't have the wierdest taste in music after seein a guy who listens to rammstein and enya...as for me i listen to what is called good music-open to anything basically. Anything as in from tibetan monks chanting to of course, rammstein, i just love their music videos. Ich Vill was the first one i saw and i was impressed. BTW anyone know any other GOOD german bands? Heard a few that were just crap.

What program do you use for msn than ? There are at least 2 programs supporting the MSN protecol, the new GAIM release ( 0.79 ) and Pebrot, the first one I used for a long time because you can use multiple protecols ( msn, ICQ, IRC, Jabber etc. ) the second one is text-based, you have to run it in console, I use it now. But I think you're not the person kicking on console aps. GAIM would be a very good program to use: take a look @ http://gaim.sourceforge.net

About GAIM. I just downloaded this programme some 2/3 days ago and expected to be able to send files and receive them. But I could do neither.

And I use(d) MSN Messenger for Windows. Didn't know you had it for Linux!

For filetransfer with gaim It should open an seperate window and then you can see your transfers but how it works exactely you shouldn't ask, the latest version I used was 0.76 ( na thats not intirely true, I tested 0.77 with windows a time ago, but I was to lame to mess with the package and ports colection of FreeBSD so I used 0.75_6 for a very long time ) but according to a girl I know it should work fine

For some reason I HATE !! Msn Messenger ( the program, althouh the protecol isn't much better but my friends from real life don't use ICQ ... ) The last verson of msn messenger I realy used was 5.X, than I started using GAIM ( for windows ) And i realy liked it, I have also had the msn messenger 6 beta but if you ask me it realy sucks, I hate filetransfer with msn/irc, I don't want stupid audio or video conversations and it realy freaks me out about the stupid avatars !

ah but I should say to everyone : "Try GAIM !"

For all the Gothic/Metal fans ( music a la Nightwish, Lacuna coil etc ) There is a Dutch band named Epica And their music is realy good ! You should listen it. The best number I think is Sensorium

I love Rammestein! Though i don't understand what they are singing, the whole sense is really cool. I also LOVE Linkin Park and Guano Apes. I've been on fantasy folk lately and from english groups I like Blackmore's night.
I also like Japanese music - no matter of what kind. Though I don't listen to pop usually J-pop is cool.
