cool where both part african american....
This might sound a little odd my I'm shocked y'know. I don't know of many people that are of African background that are into anime. i know that they exist but for the longest time I felt really weird and sorta ashamed to be an manga/anime fan because a lot of people that I know that are of African descent think it's weird. So i felt like the minority of the minority. Now I don't feel so alone anymore.

Lesse...
My mom's family is Scottish, Dutch, Irish, and German. At least, that's what my grandparents told my mom. It makes sense, though, so I won't question it.
Anyway, my dad's side is German and Italian for the most part. There might be some other stuff mixed in, but for the most part, I'm German and Italian.

On my dad's side there's some Irish too, and on my mum's side we have some Lithuanian and German, but that's quite far back in terms of generations.

.....This should be fun >:D
2. I am half Lebanese, half Iraqi.
3. Because my appearance doesn't match with people's stereotypes of a 'normal' arab, I get mistaken for a million other nationalities.
4. No one can ever seem to pronounce/spell my name correctly. .....
Lulz! omg I also have a name no one can ever spell or pronouce correctly! And no one ever thinks I'm half arab cause i don't have the usual characteristics (bar the dark eye colour) XD so I get mistaken for tonnes of other nationalitys and religions, i also have a ridculously large family but I don't get to see them much, and I also live in the UK (near to London!) woop woop! XD
OT: AND im also really creative and arty but am studying science XD , and have never been so unprepared for school, and i also hate ignorance, and I have the same preferred sleeping hours XD Lulz how much incommon!

Yeah, some of the strangest guesses I've had is east-European, sometimes Iranian, sometimes north african and I get a lot of 'you must be half English' or half French or something.
I've sort of given up correcting people when they miss pronounce my name, especially sub-teachers. They're the worst.

OT: I love science, only one of my sisters chose a science-themed degree (neuroscience !!)) all the rest chose geography, economics, sociology and stuff.
But I really need to get out of sleeping like this, I have school on Monday :c
Back to waking up at 7 every morning. Not good.

ah lulz, same about the name! This is so freaky! I have also given up correcting my teachers, no matter how many times I do they still mispronouce it due to the crappy unphonetic spelling, my friends are just as bad though ¬_¬ they all pronouce it like my teachers, which I hate, stupid english accent XD not that its hard to say it right, they just say its 'easier' and 'more english' to pronouce it the way they do, but its not an english name so they should make the effort T_T

OT: And yeh back to waking up at 7 T_T allthough I woke up at 11:30 today cause it was a weekend XD

My parents chose my name so it would be easier to prnounce in english - it still gets pronounced weirdly, though. And my surname is just... yeah.

OT: I have school on monday and I woke up today at 3:30. This is definately not good. But thank god, the first day of term is always a half day to let the little year 7s runaround without the older, scarier girls scaring them. Or something like that.

German, Irish, Scottish.
I have a dark completion, though, for someone of Caucasian decent. My ancestors were Amish, and I come from a family of Mennonites. Lots of farmers, so naturally, my skins a bit darker. Earlier this summer, some guy asked me if I was Hispanic. XD

I'm American :|
But heritage wise, there's English and French (yuck...) on my mom's mom's side. Her mother's mom (my great grandma)'s maiden name was Percival, which is the English part, then married Greatorex which I guess is the French part. I actually had relatives on the Mayflower. Also, there's apparently some Swiss in there somewhere.
But anyway, mom's dad's all German, Schirrmacher. Then dad's family is all Irish, German, and maybe a little Polish.
Predominantly though, I am German~

I am American, since I live in the U.S. XD
But as far as heritage goes...
I'm at least half German. My grandparents on my mother's side are German, and lived in Germany for most of their lives; they moved to America around the time of the Korean War. My grandfather has a bit of Russian in his family, too, so that makes me Russian.
On my father's side, I am Irish (which is very easy to tell if you know my last name), some more German, English, and Portuguese.
