I still have my NES, Atari, 2 N64s and orignal PS consoles hooked up in various rooms in my house. Of course I think they're fun, but the real test is whether or not my kids like them.
They laughed at first--citing the primitive graphics--but have taking a liking to the challenge of the older systems.

PONG ROCKS!!!!!! lol yes i also enjoy QIX

Old games are very much still fun. Chrono Trigger's one of my all-time favorites to this day.

The Wii's virtual console is going to be so nice.

Does anybody still play games from like 2000 or stuff like that, cus i still do. Even though some of the games graphics are old and outdated to me some of them are still cool. 1 of my favorite games from the past is Dark Cloud. Why dont some of you tell me some of your favorite old games?

Dark Cloud is awesome. It isn't that old though.

I like to use the original Nintendo, and playing games such as Link, and the original Mario. Tetris is cool too.

Bluewish
Of course old games are fun! Ecspecially if it's an Atari.
Brings back memories!
Indignant Judgment
Why wouldn't old games be fun? Just because some dont have the graphics of today doesnt mean that they cant be fun. If you ask me, I think that some of the games in the future have gotten easier...then again, they could have been hard for me when I was little happy.gif
slayeralchemist
I love old-school games like pacman, galaxy, and of course all those Mario games happy.gif

100% with you there.

Also, as far as I'm concerned Mario RPG will never get too old to play.
GothGirl
Pacman is just so awesome (the fact that I can access it on my school laptop makes it all the more appealing). It's ancient, but as far as old games go it's golden.
Envy II
2000 being old? laugh.gif blink.gif

Wow.

Anyways, yes I do. I still play the SNES games sometimes, and the older Pokemon games on the GB/GBC are still just as fun as ever.
LastExile
Final Fantasy VII ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!
GREEDisGOOD
This HAS to be the dumbest f*$king question I've ever heard. Of course old games are fun. The best games in the world are old, and every games ever made is some day going to become "old".
june_1
yeah, i still play old games, like king of the fight and so on.....
Dark Dragon Alchemist
I still play Pokemon Silver and Super Mario Bros. they're addicting!
Rhynd
I've been playing Chrono Trigger again recently.

I also often find myself playing the old Monkey Island games. Good times tongue.gif.
The Mad Bomber
Hell yeah they are good, even if I have played some old game twice trough IŽll probably play it trough over and over again someday due to the fact that some new games at that time are no good or simply out of boredom. Specifically as of late I have found myself playing Icewind Dale II & Baldur`s Gate II Shadows Of Amn & Throne Of Bhaal (expansion), they are probably the best rpg games for PC ever.
~Kurenai~
I still play with my GBA even though I now have a PSP, my friend thinks I'm crazy.
The Hawkeye Alchemist
Yes I still play old games, preferably old Playstation rpgs and even old Nintendo games occasionally. I love playing the old Nintendo Final Fantasy games(pre-FFVII).
Precis
Of course old games are still fun! cool.gif The pre-PSX Final Fantasies rock, especially IV.
Not to mention, I still have a lot of fun with the classics, especially Space Invaders and Pacman. They're addictive. tongue.gif

The original beats them both by far. XD

Dark Dragon Alchemist
I still play Mario Kart for the N64

Even though many of the old games are well, old, and the newer games have improved on the old games, I think that some of the older games are better that many of the new ones. Some new games can have too much of a good thing, and just doesnt have the same 'feel' as some of the old games have. Look at the new Spyro games for example, although they are not developed my insomniac, and would obviously have some differences because of this, they just dont feel the same. The old Spyro games were simple, yet fun, while the newer games, imo bring in too many new things to make the game more fun.
All I have to say is classic ftw!
