I think this confusion is good for us. It shows us how irrelevant gender really is in terms of personality and interpersonal relationships and makes us realize how our preconcieved notions of certain behaviors designated to either sex are ultimately unreliable, seeing as human beings as individuals will behave as they are wont to do and can shape their own behaviors and personalities, regardless of what dangles (or doesn't dangle) between their legs.
