If you can understand Japanese, then you don't need the subtitles at all, right? Unfortunately, not everyone knows the language as well as you do. Which is why it's in English instead of subbing it on Adult Swim. While I do agree that a few voices are better than the English counterparts, the voices in the English dub are still primarily great. You're just hard to please.

Yes I can understand japanese, but you know sometimes there are other words for words that I don't exactly know so I do occasionally look at the subtitles which don't really distract me your right. I am quite aware that other people don't know the language as well as I do, but even when I didn't know japanese I was much happier to read the subtitles instead of listening to english (My oppinion) you think I'm getting angry at you for wanting to watch english but you seem just as angry that i would rather watch the original!

I'm hard to please, I think thats wrong. All I want is to watch the original, thats not too hard to please. Hey if you want to watch the FMA voices in english then that's fine with me, the fma dub is better than most, but only ed's voice really seems to be doing okay in the english version, mmm maybe same with roy's actually roy's wasn't too bad.

But no-one can say the english one has more emotion than the original, original is original that's why.

It's fine if you want to watch the original. Heck, I like the original as much as the dub. However, you were trying to make the point that there was something wrong with the US playing the English version instead of the Japanese subtitled track, which is the reason I argued. I'm not saying that it's wrong to watch any version; people have their own preferences.


Watching the original is fine, once again. The "hard to please" part came from you hating just about every voice in the dub except for two. While some aren't as great as the original, (in my opinion) there are some very great choices in voice actors. Could you really think of many voice actors who could do a better job than the current cast? I'm satisfied with just about every voice, except maybe Envy.


People can say it. It doesn't mean that it's true, but they can in their opinion. Heck, there have been many cases in which dubs of other shows show even more emotion than the original. It all depends on the talent of the voice actor and how well they pull it off. In FMA's dub, the emotion is still captured very well. If not on par with the original, it's very close behind it.

But, I digress. The FMA movie looks to be great. After looking through the spoilers posted, I'm wondering if Ed meets up with the Alphonse in the suit of armor. It could be a fake in a similar suit of armor, but I'm hoping that it's the old Al.

Also, I'm betting that this movie won't have too happy an ending. Not a particularly sad one, but not happy either.

I have no idea when cinemas open, but I'm presuming 9! Anyway, it's the big opening day of FMA! HOW DO WE ALL FEEL?

7) Winry had big case, remember? There were Ed's new automail parts, leg and arm. He said - Hey, I'm growing, and she said - I knew how much you'll grow. So leg and arm fitted perfectly. What is love.
Amd, also, when Ed came back, Winry held him, and he blushed... that was one of the best scenes.
Also, Ed had dream about saying something to Winry, like, it was nice, when he said her name in dream (EdWin fans crying in joy )

8) Heiderich was ill, so he wanted to make rockets asap, and he sent Ed in his world in the rocket. Heiderich was shotted, and died. ;___;

9) ending spoiler - Ed came back to "our world", and said he'll brake Gates, so no one could cause wars (well, i'll write about basic plot later, okay?). So that's when Al cryed "Nii-san" in trailer.
But, Al came back with Nii-san too, so they live togheter now *_*

10) Omake. Al cut his ponytail, we can see it in the few final frames, and became young version of Hederich, in some sort ;

Okay, UPDATE.

1) Hughes is on nazi side, but he's no bad.. he's just kind of stupid )
2) Roy in the snow. Well, Havoc and Farman (??? I forgot who 0_0) and Roy, were somewhere in snowy place, and Havoc wanted to smoke, so Roy tried to fire a match for him, and managed to do it from 4th or 5th try. And then he said that he didn't use alchemy anymore from that day, because it brings death, and still can see died people under his eye-patch ;___; poor thing!!!
3) but when Elkart's army fell into hagaren-world, Roy used alchemy again, and everyone was so delighted (include fangirls there, girls in cinema cried too! ). and Riza said to him - i was waiting for you to come back, in the polite way, well, she's subordinate. She was really happy to see him, but we know, who is in Roy's heart *___*!!! (well, blame me for being Roy/Ed OTP)
4) Armstrong was just great, and got the loudest applause from audience
5) in the last scene, there is alter!Scar and alter!Lust with him.
6) Al gets his memory back, once he's back to our world along with Ed.[/spoiler]

But yeah [spoiler]the EdWin is a relief. It was almost abyssmal in the anime so pointers for BONES. However, she is now left without EITHER brother now. SHAME ON BONES!!! They should have made her go!!! We will however get to see if he's taller than she is now. I am relieved that the brothers are together. I'd take that ending over the brothers being split up AND having no EdWin. Scar/Lust makes me happy!!! Izumi makes me sooooooooooooooo sad . I need to see about this Hughes Nazi thing. I don't like it, but I need to see the situation. From the sounds of it, he doesn't REALLY support that stuff. I am still awaiting more Royai. I will be FUMING if that's all we get. That is NOT progress if that's all!!! [/spoiler]

GAhhh!!! This is so Friggin Annoying!!!! I am absolutely dissatisfied with the way the way the movie seemed to have ended!! WTF? Send both Al and Ed back to their world! Ed will never ever get together with Winry now if they don't > <!!!!!!! Ugh, not the worst ending and definitely not the best ending. I detest it though I am glad they didn't make it any worse. I refuse to think the movie is all that's left of the anime now and BONES better cave into fan pleas etc that would want the brothers back in their world! > < Totally incensed!

So what? It's basically now a 360 from BONES??? The original thing was to go back and stay reunited with loved ones - right now it's only being reunited with one loved one (ie. Al) and leaving everyone behind again!! I'm sorry, but the prospect of staying in our world with the impending World War II and holocaust doesn't seem to be a very good prospect to me!! Worst ending ever unless someone corrects me with return by the brothers to their world! > <

That's the harsh reality of it all. Ed realized that he couldn't go back to his world and had to leave everyone behind for their sake. Thankfully, Al is back with him, but they'll have to live through those wars. I actually really thought that the ending fit.

It seems that Ed and Winry were never meant to be, which I pretty much expected. I knew not to expect a happy ending, but I'm glad that Al was able to come back.
