Thanks for visiting, its been a while since we've updated! We've authorized about 500 new image submissions to our gallery, thanks to everyone who submitted!

We've also added a few more Magazine Scans featuring FMA in our media section.

And for those of you who have been keeping track in our forums, we'll soon be getting the heads up with the latest Trading Card Game that will be demo'd at AnimeExpo 2005.

Finally, we are looking for a new News Liason to cover the American market and post the latest news on the site - mainly you just need to be enthusiasic, and know where to look for the latest FMA news, and we are also looking for a content editor to help with the development of the site, individuals interested in helping out with the site should send us an email at bryantq@fullmetal-alchemist.com

I've lurked amongst your kind for a while now & I figured this would make a good opportunity for me to add my first post to these forums.

I wouldn't mind being a news liason or being a content editor for this site.

I've built 2 forums from the ground up, http://www.evo-ny.com & http://www.mitsubishicarclubcanada.com are both of my creations that I helped develop & currently maintain. Both with almost 2,000 members combined (I know that's nothing compared to the number of FMA fans here & worldwide).

Thankyou for your message, I appreciate it. I would have wanted to except this daily job, since coming to this site is part of my life. Though, keeping up in the "News" would seem like a pain. Other that that, if there is anything I can do with japanese(reading the official site/ the new Manga that came out(#10 & #11), I would be more than glad to help.
Also with downloads, I am an expert. All of the soundtracks(OST1,2,3 Ed Track, Winry Track, Al Track, Mustang Track, Hughes Track, Best Selection Track, The Movie OST, Link, Lost Heaven) are avalable(sp?) with me.

Anyway...I'm not sure if I could really could post news since it's not like my professon or anything with school and all that, but other then that I know i could do everything else. I'm a huge fan of FullMetal Alchemist and I've seen most of the episodes so far that are here in NS and yeah I think it would be pretty fun over all

Those positions sound sweet. Unfortunately, I only meet half the requirements. I have no idea where to get the lastest on FMA related (aside from this site that is) and though I've been checking out this place daily since April this year, I've not been active in the forum. That said, I do have a better than average writing skill. So if you ever need any writing done, be it essay or just to put the news into words or maybe just to check your site for spelling mistakes, look me up. ...Actually, don't look me up for the spelling checking part. =)

One other thing I might be able to help with. I might be able to fill you in on a couple stuff that you have yet to make available on your site. For example the FMA manga special edition guide #2. I might not read japanese, but mine is in chinese. And I dig chinese.

I would love to go for the postion I mean it would be awsome cause my family works at a computer store and I know how to do that stuff and I love this site!!!!!

Honestly, unless I'm forgetting something here, I don't think that this job possition would be very difficult or time consuming. Heck, I've been a fan of this site since forever, but the American news is slow to get to the main page I know that I would personally be able to update things fairly quickly, despite my busy life schedule.

My passion for FMA is nothing to shake a stick at either. Anyone can tell I'm obsessed with all the FMA merchandise laying out around my room, on my walls, and inside my DVD/Game collection.

Should there be nobody else applicable or quite as desirable as me (which is understanding considering how great of a guy I am and all, eh?), I would gladly take on the role.

As far as I know, I am not the most responsible person out there to become a liason, but I do take determination in doing what I'm asked to do. Most of the time, however, I shirk out of most differculties often.

The job description for becoming a liason isn't really that specific. All I know is that you have to be good with HTML/CSS (I know a bit) and graphic designing (I know basic PSP), you have to know where the new updates for FMA are (which I am possibly sure I only know two sources for), and you have to be a good writer (Am I?).

Well, I don't know. I would like to have a shot at this job, see how beneficial it is but there is usually someone out there who has better traits for being a liason than I am.

I am always willing to help! I have many resources for full metal alchemist info. Though alot of the information is about american debuts and news I also have many japanese resources also. Since english is my first languege I think I have good english writing skills. I am on the internet often and always ready to respond to a request!

hey, i got the email that u guys needed some1 for the news liason and i could put in several hours a week doin that. im a senior in high school so ur gonna have to trust me when i say i have good use of the english language and besides, FMA has given me somthing to look forward to every saturday when they showed new episodes (showed, as in no more new ones yet. *cries*. but if given the job, i would do my best to collect all info i find out about FMA and post it well. i live in america but im familiar with the japanese progress of the show and the events they host for it so i might birng something new to the table. if you need me please email me at chaosgreg5@comcast.net

I'm not that good with HTML or CSS code, but I have a friend who is. Though I highly doubt I could take over the researching part of the position available, I'm very good with grammar and spelling so maybe I could edit things on the site and for the specified position. Then I also am a good reference for the FMA anime, as I have seen the entire series two or three times, in Japanese. I don't know very much Japanese, only what I have learned from watching anime in the language.

Anyway, please consider if you need someone to edit, or another person on the FM-A.com grammar police!

Hi! I would love the position of updating the Announcements and News. My fiance and I are avid fans of FMA we don't miss a show. I graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Journalism, so neeless to say I have experience in writing news and in proper english. I have been a fan of animes for years now, and love to watch and critique them. My fiance had a website animerehab.com (which he recently shut down) and I did some critiques on there for him, and we keep up to date on the anime scene. My fiance has been a member of the forum for a while now and encouraged me to become a member of the forum and apply for this position because of my interest and love for FMA.

Ill go up for it I am a big fan of FMA and I can even make layouts

yeah i head earlier that sycia was gonna stop. as it is, i've returned from my year abroad in Japan as well, when i was keeping and following FMA from the end of the TV series, right through to the release of the movie.
As far as the site goes, there's not much new news, i beleive FMA may have ended with the movie and the only new news would be its dvd and/or game release.
Plus i don't feel i can do much justice not being in Tokyo and reporting for you guys

I do have a mini report and pics for the USJ attraction that i went back to in May and a week before the release of the movie, I went to see Romi Paku and Bones give a televised interview and snapped a few video clips (okay my friends did)
some of that stuff's there, not translated tho, if u can find someone for that, that'd be great.
Since i'll be skimming around the Japanese sites from time to time, whoever takes the new position, i'll inform them of anything i hear.

I have efficent english skills (and yes, I do own spell check, but sometimes, like right now, I'm too lazy to use it) and a good grasp on looking things up. I'm applying for the job of News Liason for the Japanese scene as I feel that I have fulfilled your requirements.

Although I live in Hong Kong I was raised in an English environment so I have well above average English skills. (Level 5 English UK SAT) As you may know, Hong Kong is quite near Japan, so I will be able to keep up with the latest Japanese news and merchandise available.

I have at least a few hours a day available to do this job if it is required. I also have HTML and CSS skills if needed and also familiar with WYSIWYG webpage editors such as Dreamweaver. I am also able to work with BASIC and C++ and also have skills in managing Invision Boards.

I am quite active member on the forums and familiar with what news the community requires, making it easier to do my job if I am chosen.

I hope you will consider my application since I have a lot of qualities which will help me keep up and update our fellow community members with the latest news and merchandise available in Japan.

Hello! Um...well I don't know if I can actually find new info's cause I don't really have a good link, but I know Japanese (I'm Japanese!) and English (I live in America) so I have that part covered. I LOVE Fullmetal ALchemist. This was the first show I actually got majorly hooked up on. I didn't buy figures for Inuyasha but for Fullmetal, I did. Scans, well I don't know. I mean, I have a scanner but I can't find an image hosting place. T_T Um, well I'm still in school so I have homework and stuff but I love my computer so I'm probably on it like everyday. I'm still kinda young so um, I might be a little clueless. I'm still 12. But I try the best for what I really love and I really love FMA so yeah. Uhh....I really don't I'm too qualified. I would love to do this! I love FMA it is by far my favorite anime! I know numerous site where i could collect information, plus I have almost every episode of FMA on tape(to refer back to).As far as posting news and writing the articles (as for the content editor, well i know basic html but anything after that confuses the heck out of me @__@) I think I'm well 'qualified' for the job. English happens to be my best subject, I'm even taking an Advance Placement class for it in High School. I have an extensive vocabulary and am pretty good when it comes to writing articles, essays, things along those lines. That sounds extremely egotistical, and I apologize for it, immodesty wasn't my intent. Unfortunately, I am in High School, which requires almost ALL of my attention, so if active on the site means here everyday or needing articles to be written everyday then I'm not suited for the job. I could definitely come at least 2-3 times every week and participate in forums and such and write probably 4-5 times a week.
