Where did u get that chart from? i think it might be incorrect, like said earlier ed said his height was 165 and on every site i have found with his height hes 165. i think that chart is actually fan made

No, I'd say thats pretty official if you ask me, it's even got the Japanese writing in the corner on it... that says its a height chart I think. And there is also a small colour version of a height chart which only had Edo, Al, Roy, Scar and some other people from the military on a page of either some magazine or guide book and the comparisons look like that too. 165 cm is right too but that is only in the manga, we don't know if BONES decided to make him shorter... (bastards )

Edo is still surprisingly short though now that he is compared to the rest of the characters... poor me I'm just as tall as him XD

Sorry, there's no way that Ed is 165 cm tall. I checked his height against standard measurements of a person (I'm very calculative) and even in the manga, Ed's only 150cm at BEST. (I counted Roy's height to be exactly 175 cm, yay!)

Ed is 165 cm with the antenna and the platform shoes. Come to think of it, Al in his human form is soooo tall...

We know Ed's 165 cm WITH antenna and boots because of the omake. I don't remember which it was though...volume 2? XD I forget...

I have this official picture that shows ed did not grow any more
than roy (without boots and antenna) in the series since ed
only reaches roy's neck in the movie and roy is around 5'8.
In the movie ed is supposedly 18.

I can't believe that Ed is only 150 cm. Well no wonder everyone says he's short. I was under the impression that he was 165, since that's what I picked up on fanfiction.net, but 150? I'm taller than him by six cm (156 - 5' 1.5")! Wow. Poor Edward. *huggles him*

Actually,the picture DOES match with the manga about
ed being 165 cm.His antenna is not 5 inches long.
But his boots AND antenna combined are 5 inches.
If you notice the picture the reason ed looks so short
is because the measuring of their height does not include the
height of the shoes.The line cutts off just at the bottom of
their feet,not their shoes.If it did include his boots it all
adds up to 165 cm with antenna.It didn't make sense until now.

I think 200 cm is 6' 8", as 1 foot=30 cm, and 1 inch is circa 2,5 cm. If someone knows better, please correct me. Scar is a big boy, just difficult to realise it since he is either next to Ed (tiny) or Armstrong/Al (huge) all the time...

I noticed the hair. But what I was considering was how the scalp ends higher than where our hairline begins. The conversion I used was almost 79 inches for 200cm so that's more like 6'7.


Roy is 5'8 so Hughes is looking about 5'9. Roy is only 2 inches taller than Riza and it looks like a bigger diff in the height between Roy and Riza than Roy and Hughes.

If you are talking about Ed's height, Some people said that Ed's height is 5'6" in manga. But In Anime.... He is 4'11" to 5'0"
