Okay I am going to say it outright there is no way Hughes alter self is any way associated with the Nazi's. I don't know why everyone thinks that from looking at Hughes uniform since his uniform has nothing to do with the Nazi's uniform. From the looks of it he is more likely a German police man. I just can't imagine them making Hughes a villian in the movie even if it is only Alter Hughes. They know how much Hughes is loved afterall. And even if Hughes is inititally on the wrong side, I am sure he will join the right side in the end.

Anyways I think the Rose lookalike is a gypsy like most people are saying. Remember the nazis targeted more people than just the Jews and the Gypsies were another not group that were persecuted and sent to concentration camps so it makes sense that she would be a gypsy.

i am going to be blunt and just ask a bunch of questions seeing how there is no longer any translations and how sycia might be a lil busy from translating other parts of the mag:

what ever happens to wrath? he is in one of the previous animedia and newtype japan issues but nobody has picificly said anything about him. he does play an important role in the hagren world as newtype said but that seems to be it. nothing else has really been reported or so forth. it seems disturbing since he is by far the last homuculi alive and they would want to foucs on how he is dealing with being alone, stirped of the alchemietic powers that were giving to him by eds limbs....

in the last newtype where they said that a crisis that was happing in our world was happing between lior and central..but they never made it clear what time period in our world(the problems with the middle east or the after math of world war I in the past) these problems were taking place. my bet would be on something like lior would be somewhat a tratiours nation in centrals eye because of there defience during the hunt for scar and the lost of all those troops. this event could lead to a war or a cold war at that between lior and central. is that what they are trying to say?...

a few images i saw with alter hughes i could have sworn i see alter hovec and alter breada in the background next to karl hasudorf..are they mention or even to be heard of in the movie?

the directors said that we could expect to see some of the humoculis in there humen form during the movie, but it never said which ones..and there hasn't been anymore talks about that. i might have seen a image of lust in her human form in a pic with alter rose or noa as some are calling her. is she or any of the humuculis including sloth(whom i might guess alter form is still living anyway) to be seen again?
On another note i don't expect there to be any alters for envy or dante or hoenhime because 1. dante and hoenhime have been switching bodies so there orginal alters should have died and 2. because envy died as a child about a few hundered years back so his alter would have been dead for more then three or four centeries

apperently Edward has learned a thing or two about being in our world and no doubt has picked up or knowledge of techonlegy in this world.. has it ever appered to u that if ed were to go back to his world wouldn't he be forced to make machiens for the military and such once he returns..don't forget that ed was still an wanted person because of the king bradlys motion of assciating edward and scar together. and taking one look of edwards auto mail that is closly resembling real skin won't it be posible to in corperate that technolegy in the hageren world?

I think the whole millatry kind of forgot about Ed's exsistence, and even if they are still aresting him, Roy and Al would surely step forward and protect him.

I really, really, REALLY hate the taste that the lyrics are leaving me with. Not going to translate lyrics though. Songs are like poems; difficult to translate so I'll just give you the general idea.

Without dying horrendous deaths from the suspense of waiting until it comes out on DVD?? True, however I think that most of us when we use 'Al' we mean Al Elric. Here's what I think:


Happy ending for Al E.? Sort of...

If It's a happy ending for Al, then the brothers will be reunited, but where is arbitrary. What I think is that they will meet in our world, what is more logical? Al opening the gate and coming here, or Ed flying on a rocket to his world. The ending song could be for Winry, because if Al comes here Winry will have to say goodbye to both of them.


Happy ending for Al H.? Probably not.

Edward H. is already dead, I don't think any plausible ending could be happy for Al H., the only thing that could be sort of quasi-happy for Al H. is seeing the two brothers be reunited, and getting all teary over brotherhood and stuff. Even if Ed stays here, he's not REALLY Al H.'s brother, just his alter.

Considering all the alternate endings, this one could be quite interesting:

Al H. gets offed (I wouldnt put it past BONES) trying to reunite the brothers (It does cost quite a lot to open that gate you know) via something here. I can think of some particularly heart clinching lines they could use to off him.
e.g.:

Al H.: "I've already lost my brother... *huff* ... so why should you lose yours.... *huff*."
*Al.H. dies, gate opens, Ed crosses over.

The only thing is: how would they open the gate in our world.

Who knows, the ending song could be for Winry, since if Ed&Al meet here then Winry will have to wave goodbye to her dream (EdxWin).

The way I look at it: Lovers parting is understandable, Brothers parting is war (eyes BONES studio & sniper rifle ad.)

Edward E. needs some way to perform alchemy here, I mean that's his strongest ability, and the dedication of his life. I don't think it will be anything near the impressive alchemy he performed in his world, but he may be able transmute simple things. (perhaps rocket fuel? *pondering*) Why else would you have an energy source powerful enough to melt a prostetic(sp?) arm?

AlxWinry: Hardly, I think if Al misses his brother enough, he'll respect him enough not to steal his girl! Besides, Winry would seem odd having an affair with a 12 yr old (although he's really 17).

RoyxRiza: Totally, ever since the beginning, Lt. Colnel + Hot young subordinate with one hell of an aim. Roy may resent Riza for keeping her rank now though, so she'll probably be given a choice: Rank vs Roy.

Hey! It might be true! And the happy ending for Al H might mean he died happily and have got no regrets and lives with his real brother in heaven!
The title 'Conqueror of Shambala' can hint something too, who will be the CoS? What will the person do? Is the person good or bad? Or is the CoS Edward? So many questions....
I don't think LOST HEAVEN meant some other pairing, Roy and Riza? No, this movie isn't about their love life, though I would LOVE to see them get married in the end of the movie( they are sooooooo slow at those things! They liked each other for, like, 4 years and NEVER asked the other one out!). Winry and Ed? Not possible, that would turn into a love story again, so the only possible pairing the song was talking about will be Ed and Al, or even Ed and Alphonse Heiderich...

LOST HEAVEN--- I think refers to Ed and Al Elric.
The whole point of the movie is that Ed and Al will reunite. Something like "The day the brothers reunite, the world will........" (Don't know the exact English translation, but you get what I mean.) was mentioned in the tralier of the movie. If they DON'T reunite, how can that possibly happen, right?

If Riza has to choose between Roy and rank, she will choose Roy, no doubt. I don't think BONES would send Roy to the North for nothing. Maybe there will be war between Amestris and *runs off to find the name of that country* Drachma in the North. (<-- I want this to happen so Roy and rule the battlefield and get his rank back, come on, fangirls can dream!) It is said in the manga that Drachma is a hostile country. So it's possible I hope guess. Then Riza will participate in the war and she'll go to the North and see Roy. Yeah, there is a picture of Riza with a helmet with snow all over. The cold north... *dreams*

I've been accumulating my list of things that I'd hate in the movie and so far it is as follows: Roy and/or Riza dies or they don't get together at the end, my Hughes is a villan, Al and Winry hook up (though it's not the worst thing on my list), Ed and Alter Rose hook up (not only because I don't like that pairing, but this could lead to my last and largest fear), Ed and Al reunite to only PART WAYS (Why even make the movie?!! This would be so incredibly lame). Knowing my luck with animes that I genuinely love, almost EVERY SINGLE one of those things will happen. Oi Vey.

Maybe TVB will change the shedule? Who knows...I think I'm gonna ask them if I have time.

I'm pretty sure that Nana will come, got it from the Apple Daily(although I prefer MingPao more, since they're more trustable), unless someone copied AD's website and posted that. I'm excited that she'll be coming too!

YES!! So someone agreed with me! I hate Ed's VA! She's the one who acted for the guy in Beyblade before, she has absolutely NO feelings! Romi makes the younger Ed and the older Ed seem different, that girl doesn't, NO DIFFERENCE!! And the scream in the 1st ep suckz, it's almost like a baby. She could be enough acting those 'Ah' 'oh' sounds. The only VA in HK I can accept is taisa no seiyuu.

About Ed & Al:

Please do not let it be true!!! My big thing is Ed+Al returning to a (somewhat) normal life. I mean isn't that the premise of their whole adventure? And secondly, WHAT does he have to protect our world from? Envy still hates Ed, I think Envy would follow Ed to Amestris rather than destroying our world. Ed & Al parting ways forever would suck totally.

I think Envy would most likely die in the movie. In the trailer, the green dragon seems dead, and without his powers, he would only have 1 life.
Bad VAs can ruin the whole thing, I was laughing to death while I was watching the HK version of ep 15, and nearly crying when I was watching the Japanese version of it.

I am planning to go to the Comic Festival on 29/7 (hope to find FMA perfect guide book 2 and manga volume 11 there). And I'll crush TVB if they DARE dub the movie or ask any HK singer to sing the theme songs. I was so happy and relieved when I heard Ready Steady Go unharmed.

Let's not turn this into a Hong-Kong-FMA-fans-club-thingy...

By the way, in the trailer, it seems that Al's voice is still quite childish.
